For japanese version: Best pulls - OP09, PRB-01, OP05 OP09 has the best pulls so far because of the 5 manga cards you can pull plus the roger gold card. OP05 because of the gear 5 manga and PRB-01 because of the multiple manga cards and special don cards. Rarity - OP02, OP01, OP05 Booster boxes of these three has already skyrocketed in price. OP02 has tripled because you can't find them anymore. OP01 has atleast doubled.

I just recently got into one piece tcg and I started on whatnot, a bunch of collectors on there some with good deals just spent about 50 and got SR sabo Sr Enel Sr lucci AA Leader Sakazuki and a OP-O9 pack not too sure if that’s good or not but feels pretty reasonable for 50 lol

PRB01 is gonna be great to unpack, and OP09 probably even more! About Pokémon cards, I am still deeply in love with vintage cards, while for the newer sets I think many alt arts are amazing (can't say the same for EXs though 😰)

Dont forget that PRB-01 has all Mangarares inside confirmed from older Sets! Thats pretty huge if you ask me! If you want to have a sealed box than Op-01,02 and 05 are the ways they are getting more and more expensive again 01 not under 200 bucks atm.
It’s true about the manga rares, I think I’ll dedicate a video on PRB01 and also explain the differences between the reprints and the older ones. OP01 is really expensive now as I also said in the video, but I found sealed OP05 still at a reasonable price 😅
PRB-01 manga rares have a pretty easy distinction from the original ones … EXCEPT for the Zoro , Law and Chopper … all the other ones including Gear 5 luffy have a pretty obvious differences

Hi! There is actually no difference, they are the same thing! You can find cards in packs, boxes and cases, but there are other products (such as Double Packs) where you can also get promo cards or cards you can’t find in any other way! Good luck with the pack opening and have fun collecting :)

It's possible in prb01, but apparently only in a god pack. I haven't seen any previous manga rare being pulled out of a normal pack that wasn't a god pack!

You might choose either PRB01 or wait for OP09 in December, the only thing you should be careful about is to not overpay them! Always buy packs and boxes close to their MSRP 😄

If you want to buy singles, AAs and MRs are very expensive. But all the other cards are pretty cheap. If you want to start collecting by opening packs you should be able to find them at $5 (not for all the sets though 😅).

I don't know if you have restrictions there for online purchases, but you can try to buy them online (either English or Japanese versions). There are many websites that sell them :)
OP-01 sadly not worth it anymore to expensive 1 Booster Box for 220€. OP-05 is also getting more and more expensive again. PRB-01 is for me as a newcomer the best. Still buying singeles is the best way though.
In my opinion it absolutely is. You can find 3 manga rares (one of which is Gear 5 Luffy) and the gold signature Luffy! I’m not saying op07 and op08 are bad sets, but op05 is the best set released so far. Probably op09 will surpass it though!

I went through many platforms and I've seen English packs for OP01 still at $5, while in Japanese they're at $2.50 (and they're still available if you wanna buy them, I just checked). English OP05 booster boxes are at roughly $110, while I found OP01 Japanese boxes at a little more than $90 (these also are still available). Secondly, in the video I clearly said that - if you have the budget and can purchase them - OP01 and OP05 sealed products would also make a great investment because I think they will continue to rise in value, so I really don't get your comment. What is the absolutely bad take?

@@dakotahbell2534 English packs and boxes (for which I don't know how reliable your weighting system would be...) can be easily purchased on Cardmarket (which is mainly available for Europeans but - in case you're from the US or somewhere else - there are proxy shopping services that will help you), for Japanese packs and boxes there are several online marketplaces or proxy shopping services that allow you to buy them directly from Japan. I don't know how thoroughly you've searched but it doesn't seem that much to me...

I just started collecting this past week-end , I got my self the White Beard starter deck and the Smoker one.
Although I enjoy collecting more than the competitive aspect, optcg is a fun game to play! Maybe I’ll start playing some tournament soon as well 😄

Any set is a good starting point, OP04 base set (excluding alternates) should be super cheap to complete if you buy singles!
