You can never go wrong with extra storage. Espcially if you are traveling on the bike. Though if you can see over the bag is completely dependent on the height of the rider. I😜, being almost a foot shorter than you may not be able to see over.
I do suck. It shouldn’t take me 5 minutes to put on a rain cover. Lol

I really like the bag and, and IMHO, having to disconnect the buckles the front to access the gas tank .... well it can't get any easier than that. The next thing would be to route some charging cables into the bag.
After using it for a while, I’m come to really like it. Yes, it was easy to detach. Don’t know why I really said that.
Will be interesting to see who comes out with a gas tank mount for a bag.
Still only a handful of aftermarket parts. Should be soon.

Also, I’ve owned a lot of tank bags and the only ones I owned that didn’t block access to the gas cap was a BMW F650 with a rear gas tank cap. My favorite bag on the GSA mounted to the gas tank ring.
Good point. First time I’ve had one, so I should just be quiet about it. 😎 Don’t know if I’ll do a vid, but it’s super simple. I removed the left lower fairing cover and and ran wire through that to battery. Then I zip-tied wires from top to bottom. 30 min job. You have to take the skid plate off to get to battery. You are always on even with bike off, so make sure you take off GPS when not in use.
I ran mine spliced into the headlamp, turns off with kill switch

The whole bag has your stickers in them.
I was looking at the top two straps with mine and is was only by chance that I got the left and right on correctly.
Easy to get them switched up.
Installed mine today. Just un buckle the 2 front straps for fuel. Simple

Is your seat on the low setting or high, if you put it on the low can you still see all of the TFT mate?
I switch back and forth but I actually like the low position even being tall. You can see on both to answer your question.

The risers are the last thing you need? You mean it's not getting a bunch of lights (haha)?
The risers will definitely help me. I’m leaned over too much with the stock. I wish CD made lights for the Pan-Am. Ha
