    You are absolutely right, it’s more of emotions that send signals to the brain to produce tight muscles, over the years you are conditioned to live this sort of life and the pain sets in… some times we can call emotions as anxiety, emotions and anxiety are the same .. signalling to the brain is anxiety, it’s an art to feel relaxed under all conditions, we call it mediation with open eyes. I personally suffer from fibromyalgia for the last 6 years and now after learning reading and practising I am beginning to feel better .. Thanks for the video…

    I have almost recovered from Fibro and CFS the same way (I am 95% recovered now and know a full recovery is coming soon). I wish everyone knew about this. When I was diagnosed the doctor told me the condition was for life and I had to learn to live with it--baloney!!!

    Congratulations to you! I'm on the same journey except my FM has gotten much more deeply entrenched over a lifetime of a variety of traumas in addition to having very poorly managed type1 diabetes since childhood. I agree with everything you said. Funny how the medical 'professionals' never offer this information?... (Becuz they work hand and hand with big pharma and are trained to view illness as strictly physical? Of course, holistic professionals offer much better treatment but I live on welfare and don't have the resources for that).
    I even had to figure what the hell was going on with me, looking into it for 5years. And when I finally figured out I had FM it took another 4-5 years to get a doctor to diagnose me... But I'm beginning to turn the corner and it's taken a lot of mental health healing, supported by no one but myself, and a lot of maturing and discipline in upgrading all my lifestyle habits; mental, emotional, physical and spiritual. Best wishes to anyone struggling with this.✌️🙏😘

    I can relate to you. Drs have different opinions. Or they don't believe, what you are saying. They antidepressant. I have suffered for year's. Tried different things, trying to find relief. It has changed through time. I searched, like you did. Now, I'm older. I swim at times, I walk, ride bike, and perform the stretches that I learned in physical therapy. I try to eat healthy too. Less sugar, and grains, rice, potatoes. I avoid processed food's, when I can. When i saw your video, I thought,,, There is someone out there, like me. I have always tried to keep my back straight, and relax at the same time.

      Hi.... I've watched a few of your videos now and waiting for the book to arrive....I guess what you are saying, what your message is to us in pain is that we can quieten our own minds, endeavour to be calm, be less agitated in this chaotic world, talk ourselves out of the pain, anxiety and fear? .... certainly the medications the doctors want to prescribe never work and, generally mess up some other part of the body like..the gut...

    • @theprogressjourney6249
      @theprogressjourney6249  2 роки тому +3

      @@lindaellis9349 Yes, read healing back pain and the mindbody prescription by Dr John Sarno. It's important to learn how to feel safe. Learn how to relax your body, remove the fear and the tension, feel safe. Don't believe the pain, don't think it's part of you. Think it's going away, try to unlearn it, try to ignore it until your body unlearns it and you can live a normal life. Gut issues could be linked with being tense in fight or flight without allowing the body to relax, release and digest. Learn how to relax, learn how to feel safe maybe start some meditation.

      @@theprogressjourney6249 I want to say thanks for taking the time to reply to my comment. That shows that shows your compassion and desire to help others- not a characteristic trait of many. I don’t have any fear of movement, except for maybe movements that require a great deal of balance. My balance has been affected by the fibromyalgia. My main issue with exercise is stamina. Before fibromyalgia symptoms started, I liked doing cardio especially dancing. I think the fibromyalgia stems from a great deal of trauma through my life. I have done a a lot of hard self work and work with therapists to work through these traumas. However I am starting to think that I might have some hidden unknown trauma buried deep in my subconscious that is affecting me physically. It’s a possibility anyways. I can’t think of any other reason why the fibromyalgia symptoms are still happening, because I have addressed all of the known traumas. I agree with you 100% that I do not believe that this condition is part of me. As you may have noticed I never claim the fibromyalgia as mine, when I’m talking or writing about it I just referred to it as the fibromyalgia, not my fibromyalgia.

      I was going to the gym a lot before starting having lots of tension and pain. The main goal is not to identify ourselves with the pain and tension it's just there for overactivation of the muscles but it's going away, just make sure you activate the right muscles while exercise, use more glutes when biking and less contraction on the back.
