- These are my personal favorite Korean Hip-Hop/R&B/Rap Songs!
For this list, I have not included any KPOP group or idols. I have strictly limited this list to those artists who are considered "Hip-Hop" or "R&B" or "Rap". So even if a KPOP group put out a song that leans towards Hip-Hop, it was not considered for this list.
The only idol that I considered in this list was Zico because I always considered him more of a Hip Hop artist. So even though he is an idol, he has made a big impact on the Korean hip hop scene
Jay Park is an artist that some people consider KPOP and other consider K-Hip-Hop. I was torn on whether to include him or not (Because he is one of my favorite Korean artists) but I decided to compromise and only include some of his songs that are more in the K-Hip-Hop category (for example: So Good, Demon, Star, Tonight, Know Your Name, etc... are not included even though I love them all)

Nice list, if were mine i would place Rap monster - Joke in it and all of the hip hop songs on higher positions tho... but this is just my taste :) Anyway good job!

okay i just wanna say GIRL YOU ARE LIKE ... MY SOULMATE. Bc in kpop there are many well known groups/artist but if you are deeper into rap and hiphop you just know those guys like BASTRED ( who freakin slayed their album) or Kye Bum Zu who is one of my favs besides Crush/Zion T.
And the Untouchable's song as your #9 GAD this song will cheer me up every damn time i listen to it. The whole AMOG family is just really awesome.
and i just wanna say wholeheartly this list really is smth i approve highly off ;; U ;; you did an awesome job and i know its hard bc there are so many awesome songs and it is so hard to list them and everthing.

yo this is a hella rad list! picked up a few new tracks (especially rap zombie 2 like WOW) to listen to and add to my playlists. my only "ehh" feeling with this list is the lack of epik high but i understand not everyone really digs them. gotta say if you haven't heard their "420" track you should give it a listen :)
+kanqwu The only Epik High songs that I like are: Breakdown (Supreme Mix), Don't Hate Me, and Wannabe. That version of Breakdown doesn't have an MV and both Don't Hate Me and Wannabe have a more pop feel than their other songs.
So happy so see DEAN on your list ^^ I really love his music. He's an amazing singer and songwriter. And you can't forget the king ZION.T when it's about R&B, right ? :D

I consider G Dragon as a hiphop artist ...he's released albums under the genre .
He has definitely done a lot of Hip Hop songs, but if I did include him, he would have taken up like 40% of this list because he is one of my favorite artists. So I just decided not to include him and to only include Zico as the only idol in this list.
Kpopunity skull is reggae tho ._.
Baby G-Dragon was featured at number 66. "Storm" by Perry featuring Masta Wu, Sean, and G-Dragon. He was only 13 when he did that song.

I'm disappointed that you didn't include Epik High on the list. They started as an underground artist tho and I still look up to them as k hiphop artist not an idol. lol
Also, you don't seem to have heard i11evn or DaeNamHyup (or you just don't like them xD) But I really recommend them :3 Especially i11evn's songs Factory boi, Do it and Siwi and DaeNamHyup's song Crew love :D (i11evn, Iron, Marvel J, Supreme boi, Kyum2, Yano and Kidoh are in the crew :D Namjoon was also in it before~)
they probably have heard of both crews, considering they like topp dogg, but just didn't include them in this list :)
Okay, I'm happy that they mentioned most of my favorites like Zion T., Crush, Verbal Gint, the Dynamic Duo, in which I consider in my own category pure, Korean Soul, but they fail to mention one of the greatest..... JK Tiger, and his wife Yoonmirae!!!! and speaking of women, where are the females in the top 100? I think I only saw one! you have groups like Spica, Mamamoo, and the soulful voice of miss Hi lee! time to do another top 100.

awesome list I love jay park ☺ BUT I think you are missing a major group for your khiphop& R&B list, Drunken tiger. Which is also known as MFBTY. They have been around for quite a long time, and I also realized that you only chooses male groups you should check out yoon mirae. She sings a lot but when she raps she spits fire. They're like the original khiphop groups
+gloobert To be honest, I have not listened to much MFBTY. I have only heard a handful of songs, but I haven't liked anything that I've heard from them. I don't know much older khip-hop songs Would you mind recommended some older ones for me to listen to?
Ya no problem my all time favourite song of Drunken tiger has to be monster. It has a hard beat if you are into that. They also have other amazing songs like "I want you" "convenience store", isolated ones, left foot forward" and so much more. For yoon miare people consider her as more as a singer but her raps dominates "Get it in" is good there is a Korean and English version. "Wonder wonmen","payday" and "memories" are top notch. And for MFBTY I love "Sweet dreams" & "MFBTY". They are also in a group called sunzoo where they rap in English too try"Get down"&"On&On".

I know this is an old video but does anyone remember the song where it had one male singer with a deep voice and another guy rapping. The music video had a man painting on a huge canvas, and whenever the rap parts started it would cut to someone else breakdancing. The only lyric I remember is something like, “remember the time”

I was wondering if you could help me track down a song and it's gonna be super obscure but I've been searching for this song like crazy. Lol
So the video focuses on a girl (surprise) with a white tank top and she gets wet, I think from a bath and there are two rappers in the song. I think the video is from TS Entertainment, but I can't say for sure. And the video has like a pinkish/reddish tint throughout. I'm sorry if this is a terrible description but if you could offer some suggestions of what it could be I would appreciate it! :)

I included Hip Hop songs as well as Rap and R&B songs. The tile just says hip hop because if I included all the genres, it would be too long. I figured hip-hop covered the other two genres better than the other way around.

Yeah I forgot to include that in the description. I have always considered him to be a great hip hop artist and while Block B would lean more towards pop, Zico himself has made a great impact on the hip hop scene, so I considered him in this group. But he is the only exception.
+Kpopunity For me its him and Rap Monster. You have to listen to Primary ft Rap Monster and I think it was Kwon JinAh- U. Its amazing! Okeh, my love for primary is just way too big xD And my love for hyukoh. Sad they didnt make it on your list ^^
+aardbeidelijkheid zico did underground first before becoming an idol but still i considered him as an artist than being an idol :)
Byun Bomi I know, but so did other artists so 🤷 ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ (don't get me wrong, I think he's more than just an idol too. It's just this argument can be used for multiple idols, so for me it is not really that valid y'know?)
+aardbeidelijkheid I get your point tho but zico is still actively promoting in both (the idol and underground) which i love about him. He's truly an ambitious and hardworking artist! He still works with underground artists and still performs at the smaller shows (clubs etc) and collaborating with other artists too. I guess that counts him being on the list :)
