“I’m going to try and make a mistake” HAHA THAT line will go down in Card Makers history Connie! Fabulous video!! Needed EVERY one of these tips! Thanks so much.
Hey Clever! Nifty video. Last month we had two new ladies at our stamp club. One lady was brand new to stamping. She had a big halo. We just said, "meh, it's your first card!" :) Cheers!
Connie you are a card making genius. I have made all of those boo boos at one time or another. Thanks so much for these great tips. Appreciate you so much.
Thanks Connie its good to know not only amateurs and novices make mistakes, don't feel so bad now, about little boo boo' s! Great Hacks Connie, brilliant channel! Ty
I make mistakes ALL time! LOL I've made a habit of never decorating the card front directly. Always make a decorative panel to attach...but then I put it on crooked.😕 LOVE the idea of heating it up to loosen it. Will definitely be needing that at some point.😄 You may not be a life saver, but you are absolutely a card saver!👍🏻 And someday I hope to be as good as you...TRYING to make a mistake, and failing.😎
Lots of useful tips there Connie ! Mine are mostly- not straight, or a mark appearing from no-where. These are great tips to remember, so thankyou for sharing them, they are always good to know.
Thank you, Connie. Not only did you teach how to fix mistakes giving us multiple options, but you also made me feel better about myself; even the pros make mistakes! This is one of the most useful videos you have made, and they’re ALL useful! Cindy W.
Wonderful hints for saving a card. Sometimes it's hard to tell myself that 'it's just paper' and start over. I'm frugal with my supplies and these tips will help tremendously!
great tips for covering up booboos. a couple of them i had NOT tried before. now i feel better equipped. i think the heat gun idea had to be my fav, but like you, i don't give the layer a good press until i am pretty sure it is straight!!!
Thumbs up for each tip! I used some of these on Easter cards I left for my grandkids, (and others that I made) I left at their house when I went to pet sit while they were on spring break. Also, since I didn't know the.warming of the tape runner, I tried to peel off a card front, it started bringing the paper of the base with it. I could see the bare spot on the inside. An extra butterfly for that one! Even put a butterfly on the back of one card because of a booboo I made on the inside!, I have been having trouble finding those ink erasers, though!
Very helpful suggestions that we can all use, Connie! I especially liked the crooked card front suggestion...I can really use that. LOL TYFS. You're amazing!
Oh Ty Connie on the tips. I was delighted to learn about the misplaced card front and never thought about using my heat gun. Thanks soooooo much for sharing.
I'm so glad you made this video. I've figured out some of how to fix my boo boos, but you really nailed the rest of them, especially the crooked placement of the second layer. Thank you so much!
Really great tips, Connie! If the ink blemish isn't too severe, I love using my sanding block to file it away. SU paper is so awesome that sanding away a top layer doesn't affect the color of your paper. I had to laugh at the crooked card layer... ALL THE TIME, I do that one. 😂
Wish I had viewed this video sooner! THANK YOU SO MUCH Connie!! There is nothing more discouraging than spending time and effort and feel the mistakes detract from the beauty of the card. Such awesome tips...no more discards! Learned the heat tool tip removing a label from a bottle. Applied it to cards and it worked! Another tip: Use a "Gelly Roll" white ink pen to pass over some light stamping edge/splatter mistakes. Thank you again!
Love your darker hair, Connie
