Good video, been watching you for a while now! I have done all of this on my 540 over the last few months. You should look into doing the intake manifold gaskets, replacing CCV/Gasket, TB gasket, and while you are in there cleaning injectors/new O rings. Mine was intermittently stalling due to a vacuum leak and those took care of it. The CCV system on these is such a poor design and if neglected can cause serious carbon build up in the manifold and on your injectors. Good content man, enjoy the channel!
7mm hex worked for me for the chain adjustment incase 8mm doesnt work for some of you.great video man 8 just did mine had one big bolt and 2 small ones shes all buttoned up now.
Do you think it would be good idea to go buy this car in another country and drive it home about 800 miles? What do i need to check before such long trip... when i get home i will do the maintenace but it needs to take me home haha
Did these things fix that cold start issue? Mine has the same problem. Rough idle on cold start, drive like a champ still tho just every start is shameful 🤣

FCP Euro is WAY WAY OVERRATED! I ordered a timing chain, item arrived looked refurbished (scratched, but seemed it was sandblasted it to make it look new). Then they gave me hella of hard time stating I swapped the chain. I said, is simple enough, check the ones in your inventory... management email with an apology and an RMA. Ended buying one from Ebay for a quarter of the cost from FCP, new in perfect condition.
Picked up a 540 a few months ago - these vids are amazing since I wish to refurb my b40. Keep up the good work man!

It was a later video doing throttle body gasket that fixed it

Just have to pull off the pan and look.

Weird man ive never had issues with them. Occasionally an incorrect part but they are quick to fix the issue
