This was a great faith building block! We all need to know who we are in Christ, and this movie shows us one of the ways to find out. We don't have to find out by boxing but to fight the good fight of faith. When life gives us struggles we must give it the fight of our lives with Jesus Christ inside of us.

Lovely to hear scripture being quoted and people praying in the name of Jesus, and people having their prayers answered. Sadly I' m not sure if the setting where children of God attempt to cause physical injury to another really glorifies God.

Decent movie. The characters seemed like exaggerated their roles and were extra dramatic about everything. Also I couldn't stand the main character's wife, basically contemplating adultery and she never got scolded for that.

This movie is amazing, usually I kind of wince when actors pray in a movie or on tv. Not this time it was spiritual. What was amazing about his prayers to be a more worth servant and a better husband are part prayers I have every day with almost the exact same words.
"Help me, help me know" she says when trying to decide between her husband and the new guy Brock. God is very clear in His Word that a divorced woman CANNOT remarry, she can remarry if her husband dies. IF a divorced woman remarries she is living in adultery and causing her husband to live in adultery.
Jesus is Lord God Almighty clothed in unsinful humanity and He is the author of (eternal life) to all who trust Him alone for salvation.
This means that saving repentance is realizing that you are a sinner deserving of God's just punishment in Hell and turn (repent) from whatever you trusted in before, if indeed you trusted in anything; to trusting in the person and finished work of Christ (alone) for salvation.

Why do they not pray in Jesus name? They just pray and then say amen. We go to the Father in the name of Jesus.
I used to and still sometimes get annoyed with that as well! Then I realised that you technically don't have to say 'in Jesus name.' God won't punish you for just saying, amen. Even the Bible has an example of how to pray without 'in the name of Jesus.' God, knows peoples hearts and who they're praying to.

The story was good. Kevin Sorbo was great as usual. But, the other "actors" were among the WORST I've ever seen. To me this illustrates the need for more and improved actors in faith-based movies.
