Outstanding presentation. Densely packed information delivered in "easy listening" bite-sized morsels that progress in a logical, understandable sequence. Added this video to my immunology reference playlist. -- A follow up question: How does the inflammatory response mechanism work when chronic inflammation results from an untreated injury? (eg. a sprain that's ignored over several months or years) Thank you Dr. Wendi!
Hi Doctor Wendy, i have histamine intolerance and my GI map show high levels of klebsiella and candida. The most horible simptom i have is this massive inflamation all over my body, i gained 5 kilos from day to night, i feel tired, my face and bod if really puffy.I dont know what to do. Are you in London? Hope you can help me !
Hi, it is usually not an intolerance as much as your body is making more than you can break down and can be highly linked with gut inflammation because the gut is where we make the enzyme that breaks down histamine. I would suggest looking up info about how to reduce gut inflammation, and reducing yeast infections like Candida go along with gut inflammation. Lastly, some ways that we increase histamine that you may not have thought of, that you can also look up include leftover foods and fermented foods, because bacteria can make histamine. I hope that helps you out :)
