I watch you, Dutch, Justin, and several other farm/homestead you tubers and you’re by far my favourite and have some of the best content. Worry about getting the necessary chores done, the lower priority chores when you have the time and keep taking that boy of yours fishing and being there for their sports games and activities cause at the end of the day those are the memories you’re making for your family. You’re on this earth for them. 👍

I drive an 18-wheeler and I'm home every Saturday and Sunday and boy do I have things to do on the weekend. but like you said trying to spend as much time as possible with the wife and kids Saturday and Sunday. Family is the most important thing everything else can wait the garden the farm work the housework. if it's God's will to extend my life for another day that i can get things done but at that moment family is the most important thing on this Living Earth. Found your UA-cam after I got two goats. Love the videos. I drive an 18 wheeler (only pt now). I download videos and when I'm sitting to get unloaded or loaded I watch them. I also watch Dutch, and others. When I'm home I am trying to garden and raise my animals. I now have 7 goats. Live life to the fullest.

I really love your interaction with Houston. Your fishing reminds me of my mom. Fishing was her all time favorite activity, and we spent many a day down in Texas City fishing. As a teenager, she resorted to bribing me with movie money to spend the day fishing with her, but I am so thankful that I had all the time I did with her, because I never knew I'd be without her so early in life (I was 29, she had just turned 55). Those are some of my better "mom memories" and to be reminded of them, this weekend especially, was really nice.

Daniel you are doing great life is a balancing act. People don't understand what they don't see you doing everyday. It takes time to edit videos, fix dinner, do laundry, help kids with homework, and etc. You just finished a meet up where people showed up and supported your family. The work was done by young unmarried men who lived in military style camps and worked on rural projects across the country.The WPA or Works Progress Administration (my Pawpaw always said it stood for "we piddled around") primarily worked on roads and public buildings.
Melinda Green the WPA also did projects such as this dam here in Oklahoma. There are a few around here in southeast Oklahoma that still have the markers on them

My brother is on honor gaurd for Washington State Patrol. 2 weeks ago he had to do a funeral for an officer who was doing a routine abandon vehicle check when her was fatally shot leaving behind a wife and 5 month old baby. Definitely helps all to remember how abrupt the end can come and to be thankful for what you have. Should also put us in a place of thinking what our eternity holds and what we are doing with our Bible while we are here. We will all answer to God one day. I hope to here "well done". We have only been on our farm for a year and one month. (City dwellers before that) We were completely overwhelmed until we started watching your vlogs. Once we focus on one thing at a time things have become more manageable. My husband works crazy long hours. When he gets home I watch the stress melt away. He has a cat on his shoulder. A hen following him like a puppy. One of the goat telling him "now" as she steals treats from him. So thank you for making these vlogs. They are a blessing to us.

Ive been a LEO for about as long as you and work a jurisdiction surrounded by Detroit...Pretty rough area. I live about an hour or so from my work. Most days on my way home I turn off the radio and try to drown out the days events. I cherish the time spent with my loved ones...hell, I cherish the days I make it home without having the integrity of my ballistics vest checked. “Too blessed to be stressed” is the perfect summation of my life. When one puts things into perspective, it makes it easier for problems to just roll off your back. Keep up the good work with this channel...I’m learning quite a bit. Be safe, man. My dad worked on the CC camps during the depression. He helped lay the stones on the pull offs alone Skyline drive in Virginia. Then he joined the army when he was old enough.

Dear Daniel and Arms family, My name is Jessica. I am on my husbands phone to take the time to thank you deeply from my heart for all of your cherished videos of your family on your farm. My Husband, (Tony Somes, pronounced SOAMZ) found your UA-cam website last year looking for advice about raising goats. He found your channel. And I was really surprised because he is not a computer nor online info fan at all honestly! Let me tell you a little bit about him. He was born and raised here in Northern Maine. He grew up with eight sibling's. Life was extremely tough and just as poor! But Tony found happiness in raising animal's. He used to have many cat's, dogs he had bread as well as rabbits and over 300 show pigeons! He raised two girls from ages 4&6 whom he had met thru his then girlfriend turned wife back in the early 90's. Later he divorced but fought the state and won to raise those two little girls by himself! Everyone in this community that knows him, all tell me he had been a great Dad to those two girls! And they weren't even his own! That's a makings of a great man! So fast forward to present. We met eight years ago. Like I said before, he found your channel last year. Tony has done nothing but slave away for the past 38 year's always making other's Happy! He makes me proud! I am thrilled to share with with you that there isn't anything he enjoys more than coming home from work has his supper all the while he's watching his Arm's Family Homestead video's! He loves watching about the goats, fell in love with Houston laughs with DJ and truly admires his favorite Police officer! He looks forward to watching your videos daily! I drive an 18-wheeler and I'm home every Saturday and Sunday and boy do I have things to do on the weekend. but like you said trying to spend as much time as possible with the wife and kids Saturday and Sunday. Family is the most important thing everything else can wait the garden the farm work the housework. if it's God's will to extend my life for another day that i can get things done but at that moment family is the most important thing on this Living Earth. Found your UA-cam after I got two goats. Love the videos. I drive an 18 wheeler (only pt now). I download videos and when I'm sitting to get unloaded or loaded I watch them. I also watch Dutch, and others. When I'm home I am trying to garden and raise my animals. I now have 7 goats. Live life to the fullest.

I really love your interaction with Houston. Your fishing reminds me of my mom. Fishing was her all time favorite activity, and we spent many a day down in Texas City fishing. As a teenager, she resorted to bribing me with movie money to spend the day fishing with her, but I am so thankful that I had all the time I did with her, because I never knew I'd be without her so early in life (I was 29, she had just turned 55). Those are some of my better "mom memories" and to be reminded of them, this weekend especially, was really nice.

@@ArmsFamilyHomestead most likely it was the CCC which stood for "Civilian Conservation Corps" which worked on projects with environmental benefits. The work was done by young unmarried men who lived in military style camps and worked on rural projects across the country.The WPA or Works Progress Administration (my Pawpaw always said it stood for "we piddled around") primarily worked on roads and public buildings.
Melinda Green the WPA also did projects such as this dam here in Oklahoma. There are a few around here in southeast Oklahoma that still have the markers on them

My brother is on honor gaurd for Washington State Patrol. 2 weeks ago he had to do a funeral for an officer who was doing a routine abandon vehicle check when her was fatally shot leaving behind a wife and 5 month old baby. Definitely helps all to remember how abrupt the end can come and to be thankful for what you have. Should also put us in a place of thinking what our eternity holds and what we are doing with our Bible while we are here. We will all answer to God one day. I hope to here "well done".

We have only been on our farm for a year and one month. (City dwellers before that) We were completely overwhelmed until we started watching your vlogs. Once we focus on one thing at a time things have become more manageable. My husband works crazy long hours. When he gets home I watch the stress melt away. He has a cat on his shoulder. A hen following him like a puppy. One of the goat telling him "now" as she steals treats from him. So thank you for making these vlogs. They are a blessing to us.

Ive been a LEO for about as long as you and work a jurisdiction surrounded by Detroit...Pretty rough area. I live about an hour or so from my work. Most days on my way home I turn off the radio and try to drown out the days events. I cherish the time spent with my loved ones...hell, I cherish the days I make it home without having the integrity of my ballistics vest checked. “Too blessed to be stressed” is the perfect summation of my life. When one puts things into perspective, it makes it easier for problems to just roll off your back. Keep up the good work with this channel...I’m learning quite a bit. Be safe, man. Dear Daniel and Arms family, My name is Jessica. I am on my husbands phone to take the time to thank you deeply from my heart for all of your cherished videos of your family on your farm. My Husband, (Tony Somes, pronounced SOAMZ) found your UA-cam website last year looking for advice about raising goats. He found your channel. And I was really surprised because he is not a computer nor online info fan at all honestly! Let me tell you a little bit about him. He was born and raised here in Northern Maine. He grew up with eight sibling's. Life was extremely tough and just as poor! But Tony found happiness in raising animal's. He used to have many cat's, dogs he had bread as well as rabbits and over 300 show pigeons! He raised two girls from ages 4&6 whom he had met thru his then girlfriend turned wife back in the early 90's. Later he divorced but fought the state and won to raise those two little girls by himself! Everyone in this community that knows him, all tell me he had been a great Dad to those two girls! And they weren't even his own! That's a makings of a great man! So fast forward to present. We met eight years ago. Like I said before, he found your channel last year. Tony has done nothing but slave away for the past 38 year's always making other's Happy! He makes me proud! I am thrilled to share with with you that there isn't anything he enjoys more than coming home from work has his supper all the while he's watching his Arm's Family Homestead video's! He loves watching about the goats, fell in love with Houston laughs with DJ and truly admires his favorite Police officer! He looks forward to watching your videos daily!
