Loved how you could see the loving reassurance in Charlotte's face and holding George's hands in hers
This just before they were introduced to the guests at their ball and before walking down the steps
Charlotte had talked through George to wave to the guests. He got more confident, smiled and danced with Charlotte happily. A nice scene is where George 's mother thanked Charlotte for making George happy, and she bowed and acknowledged Charlotte as the Queen.
This was such a beautiful scene, the way she supported him and coached him through the entrance and dance. When he felt himself slipping she held him together, that’s what true love is 🥹❤️
The last scene of this show made me weep it was so beautifully done and suddenly I had tears. Loved this season

Just finished my rewatch of bridgerton season 1 and 2, then this show as well. This scene and the final scene of the show gets me choked up every time. It’s so beautiful beyond words
I'm an American who loves British history the real history. I wasn't that enamored of Bridgerton (just watched again) and I NEVER cry at fiction no matter how good the writing is BUT THESE TWO AND THE MUSIC OMG!!!!! Freakin' SOBBING!!! I haven't even cried at Outlander. And I love that show. India is just unbelievable.
Love it!! OK I'm hitting Season 2 (we say Season in USA I know you all don't). The thinking about 2 was that they were fighting it seemed all the time. But again very Shonda, very stylized (I still love my non fiction British history!!!

I don't understand how she does it even like she was able to made this 6 episode shine like anything. I am still over that heartbreaking and bittersweet last scene. It's everything really. It definitely surpassed all the 2 seasons before.
Note: Do not compare brigerton series with this one. It does not stands at all.

I will be forever grateful to this show. It reminds me a lot of my fiancé and I. When we went through some hard times, it helped me get a better sense of his perspective. We are similarly in love, but there was so much I didn’t know. This show has lead to such valuable conversations, and it has made us stronger as a couple.
I love, love, love this series!! The actors are perfect in their roles, costumes and set design are perfect as was the writing!! It was so good that I binge watched from 2:00 AM this morning b/c like an excellent book, I could not put it down! Won’t comment on the storyline as I wouldn’t want any spoilers to ruin the magic!!

This is one of my favorite scenes! Charlotte fulfills her promise to to stand with him. ‘It is you and me! Keep your eyes on me.’ George remembers what she said and has the confidence he needs, ‘To Be The King’. In your face Lord Butte!
It’s a beautiful story full of mixed emotions…George was living a miserable life it’s sad.Charlotte was forced to become very strong woman
he did not live a complete miserable life thanks to her love for him. And she did not live a miserable life thanks to his loverl for her.
In a way they saved each other doing whatever they could to be together always and staying much time possible together when the illness did not manifest

@@denorwhi No man who looks at another woman the way this actor looked at his costar not just on the show but off camera during promos is truly in love with their partner. If he is still with her it is out of obligation and the many impossible obstacles. I imagine it would be career suicide for both actors who are newly famous to then date by getting rid of his current gf to be with his costar. Pretty forbidden and impossible actually. Shonda is pretty scary I bet they had to sign a contract not date too. lol

I don't know how these actors made the love come across the screen and make it feel so real but I haven't cried so much with a movie since the scene with the father and son in a Walk to remember.
I wish after she said "you and me" and they started to dance, the camera would show there's really no one else but them, just like how in Twilight after Bella and Edward said their vows. So the scene can be more intimate and shows George's POV somehow, like her words really ease his mind, just two of them against the world, nothing else matters.

It's called English Country Dances, a lot of them have been written down in Playford's The English Dancing Master (an old dance manual from the 1600s). The steps are taken from various dances if I'm correct, definitely have done the part with the hands touching above their head while spinning.
