yesss I have heard of punishing gray raven which I have never played. this game looks gorgeous so i think I will be taking a look at PGR :) thanks for watching :)
I'm waiting for this game! Kuro game also made Punishing Gray Raven (PGR) which is also one of my favourite games When I don't feel like having a casual day with Genshin, I play PGR to try-hard a little lol the game is heavy on combat and even spending money won't save you if you don't learn the mechanics, the combat itself is smooth and pretty addictive, at least for me. PGR is also very F2P friendly - even more than Genshin. I believe Kuro to make Wuthering Waves hard in that correct rewarding way to play and to also have the right gatcha system similar to PGR because they did great in that game. I love the story in PGR too, I care about the characters and hopefully Kuro will make Wuthering Waves shine among other games. I soooo look forward to this game, loving the combat and everything, and if I know correctly, this game doesn't even have beta yet! So there are many things they can change or improve And if they didn't change it yet, the boss at 14:40 was first introduced as a tutorial boss! So possibly the first thing you will fight in the game!
@@Prodigal450 that's why i love how pgr make u can get A rank u want in 10 pull with 80% rate to get what u choose... (ofc trap is sometimes u get 20% rate lmao but i didn't really regret it tho)

Thanks for checking out Wuthering Waves! It's early in development, and the devs (Kuro Games) have said in an interview before that they're facing some employee constraints for WW so it might take quite a while for it to be released, but I'm really anticipating it.. I also saw your other comments saying you'll check out Punishing Gray Raven so I'm really looking forward to that, I love PGR ^^
The MC(The one in black at 7:30 and again at the 14:51 fight) they both wield light for their element. The gray haired girl is named Sanhua if I remember correctly BTW.
Although this game has been developed for nearly two years, the development is relatively slow due to the small size of the team. And their team is running another game. Wuthering Waves has only conducted one technical verification-type test in July. After that, there was only some new news until recently. So the game may take another two years to officially release. But judging by the quality of their other game, this one should also be excellent. So while you wait for this game, keep an eye on their current game - Punishing: Gray Raven. PGR is a more action-focused game.
If you do decide to react to Punishing Gray Raven (my favorite mobile game of all time btw) thankfully PGR in their official YT has Playlists organized by the release of ever event so you don't get lost. I would love to watch your reactions to them!
@@pitied3744 well for me I don’t care about destiny and athem because I don’t like those games im talking about the population of Wuthering Waves beating Genshin Impact population
I highly recommend You playing Punishing: Grey Raven! It's older game made by Kuro Games, the same developers of Wuthering Waves! Both games are amazing on so many levels, including but ot limited to combat, plotline, characters (development, design, fun while playing etc.,), soundtrack and all in all are super woth playing! Also PGR is f2p friendly! You don't have to spend money on it of you don't want to, but if you do, it's not much from your side while being rewarded BIG TIME from game's side! And so far it looks like WW will go the PGR path in terms of being skill-based game. Either get good or perish. Highly recommend! Also amazing video, waiting for more!
I have heard some stuff about this game, but considering its probably a ways off i think it needs time to draw people to itself. Genshin started a real wave of games that have similar styles and playstyles so this one does't come a complete suprise, though i am curious about how it all works and its monatization model. Till then, i have Honkai 3rd and Genshin to keep me busy among other games.
Absolutely agree. hopefully people will see the potential this game has and in the mean time I will take a look at punishing gray raven. i am already digging the fighting style so can't wait to give this a go :)
When you mentionned Genshin + Dark Souls I though of Code Vein lol. Thanks for covering this and have a good week GG! Pssst! Still waiting for that Kayn voicelines video btw =P
parries and eye frames ok... love to see it wouldnt say souls esk gameplay but not many games with parry and eye frame mechanics that are heavily used..however gameplay also feels more on honkai's style then genshin cuz character swap isnt looking like elemental reaction but more on affinities and synergy.very cool lookin game, interest peaked
@@HexxKnight the gameplay they have now is from their other game being Punishing Gray Raven which is basically a less flashy Honkai that have a faster combat pace and rely a lot more on skill Punishing Gray Raven despite being a action rpg with no stamina normally do actually have stamina for dodge in specific so that player cannot spam it you could check out Rexlent for some high level gameplay
This game looks fantastic. You can run up/across walls, have a grappling hook and a glider. The combat is dodge and parry based so that's always a plus for me. It seems to be more actiony/skill based than Genshin, which is honestly skill/burst spam at higher levels since barely anyone uses their normal attacks. The speed of the action gameplay looks closer to games like Devil May Cry, Bayonetta, Nier: Automata or Kuro's previous game, Punishing Gray Raven. There is footage on youtube of the beta tests where you can see health bars and such. The combat trailer shows no HP because they probably had altered HP for showcase purposes. The only thing I don't really like is the character aesthetics/models (especially their faces). They look kind of odd, but otherwise I will definitely be playing this. The world is dark, for sure. I think it's either during or after the apocalypse. It's definitely sci-fi and it become most apparent once you see the city.
I completely agree with everything you have said! I am super excited for the flexibility with movement and travel and fighting! Cant wait to see the final game footage for sure and try this! I for sure get dmc/bayonetta vibes from this 😁 Thanks for watching :D
Here are some more things you can do I’ve seen lots of gameplay footage. Mid air attacks available to some characters I think just casting/gun characters from what I’ve seen, transformations for each individual characters that you can use to attack/ move and jump out of at anytime to combo based on bosses and enemies you have defeated, making characters attack on switch in and out so you can switch out with a skill and they will still be there to finish the skill and then you can switch in and use another skill to combo the character you are switching out with, different elements and a stagger mechanic on boss that stuns them for a short period if you parry them enough times
hahaha "the fighting is not as refined as genshin" If you knew Kuro n pgr, you would realize how blasphemous that sounds. Not hating on you btw. I love seeing the reactions. thats also something I would have said if I didnt play pgr. btw highly recommend you try punishing gray raven. also I highly recommend you watch some pgr boss battles. In fact, Ill leave you a link of you want to check it out
