In WWII I loved the looks of the 30b so much that I rebought it after a long hiatus (5? 6? 7? years). Even though I did better in the Tier IX version, the WWII 30B got me my only Kolobanov medal. It’s got paper armor so I play it almost like a TD. Buy, especially with camo, it looks so cool. I missed the FORAD premium and don’t look forward to the extreme-amounts-of-silver grind in Cold War. Good & thorough review, mate. I found it’s easy to do well in the Bat Chat, although I prefer the Lorraine 40T. I like the AMX30A, although its HEAT rounds do lead to a lot of bounces, especially at range, and the gun’s accuracy kinda stinks. I will grind the rest of the line, but I skipped ahead and bought the AMX-40, and love it. It’s like the French version of the Chinese Type 88A, only with way better gun depression: Super fast, turns in a dime, and a light speed loading gun (especially for a 120mm). Armour is decent for a medium too.
Some of those tanks are flops for sure but definitely each line has a vehicle or two you just have to suffer with for a while until you get the keeper. T-62 comes to mind.
The entire line from amx is a flop up until the end, it’s the worst line in NATO the French couldn’t decide if they were gonna follow the nato trend & be hull down monsters or go down the Russia doctrine & be attacking tank on tank monster, or be active scout hex let’s try & be it all ? The AMXs try to do it all but don’t succeed in any one role, I’ve enjoyed every line in Cold War besides the British line & French line, the AMX30b2 up until era 3 you have to only fire gold rounds to be competitive so without a premium account you will lose millions of silver even with a premium account your struggle to break even, the AMX30B you have to skip if you wanna preserve your stats, as it’s borderline unplayable with heat only in era 2, AMX32/40 is an Xp piñata you spend the entire game trying to remain hidden with terrible heavy tank camo stats in the match, the tank shines bright when it’s flank however most games and current map cycle won’t allow decent flanking manoeuvre, as a super unicorn player I wouldn’t recommend any casuals to grind the line as it simply isn’t worth it, the Russia tank depression with the worst armour in game makes for a lot of frustrating situations where you can’t perform & are the under dog 99.9% of situations. The AMX30A is supposedly the most accurate gun in era1 however I strongly believe the gun accuracy is bugged as in game stats to match performance don’t aline, if line came out 6 months ago it would of been decent but the issue is now everyone is playing heavy front tanks and current map cycles suits that play, furthermore with the introduction of object 477 & object 292 the Leclerc isn’t worth playing as these hit harder & have more pen, the Leclerc armour won’t hold up to 900pen but then not many tanks do besides leopard turret occasionally, the entire French line needs a serious buff & re think literally 90 players are playing the line on console Cold War out of the 10,000 players I wonder why?😂😂😂😂

Playing the Char 25T with a one skill commander is bit crap especially when it comes to gun handling.
