Climbing in Kalymnos / Grande Grotta : DNA (7a+, 5.12a)

The entry route in the Grande Grotta in Kalymnos. The program is the following : power moves on good holds, massive rests on tuffas and incredible scenery... Kalymnos at its best!

@coyyoteine : simply because this run was not the redpoint one... My mates were not shooting while I did it... As a matter of fact there's no crux in that route, it's "only" pretty tiring, and that run was the last of day one @ the grande grotta!

@olelr92 Go for it man! Just pure pleasure... Maybe you'd like to try Ivy and Trela over there at the grande grotta.
Maybe we'll meet there, I'm planning to have another go ;-)

Well, yes indeed!
The video actually stops at the belay... There is no second pitch to get out of the cave, but there's a number of harder routes (something like 8a) that gets to the middle of it... Got ot see that for yourself, it's pretty amazing!

@coyyoteine : Thanks for the info about DNA extension, I guess that's what Unicyclejuju meant about topping DNA...
Anyway 8a is far too hard for me right now, but ... I'll be back!
About Ivy, I sure did try it but couldn't redpoint it. It's quite harder and more bouldery and pumpy than DNA.
I've done Lucky Luka at Odissey though, but it's more my style (2 cruxes, and the rest is rather easy)

soft 7a at most, and yes, i onsited it.
For a properly graded 7a try Kerveros. That was a proper battle to onsite, my fingers where bleeding at the end.
