Omg. I am 36 now and I spent 10 years as a recruiter in Oil & Gas and nowwwww I really want to jump into IT. I apply and they all discard me, because ofc I have zero experience on the field. I'm so desesperate that I am studying now Front-End, and damnnnn, for me as a Psychologyst, is hard. Then, if I survive to the first coding, I'll study something in the Back-End. I feel sad to not jump to IT before :( but I will keep and keep and keep trying

I would like to share you that currently I'm doing Technical Recruiter job in my own consultancy for four years. Earlier I worked in Big corporates for 15 years as Operations Lead(Non HR profile). During those period, I worked closely with HR Team for their support. And I always had a dream to do HR job as my passion and today I've been working with the same. Can you suggest me what is your recommendation on my career growth to again start corporate jobs(as HR) or continuing my current own consultancy?

Candidates will clearly mention their experience and expertise in their resumes. To know more about their hands on experience and exposure, you can do a telephonic or in person interview.

Hi, you don't really need a degree to be a recruiter. You just need basic interviewing skills. Get a proper understanding of the business and the role that you are hiring for. Hi, you can ask the Line Managers what you should look for while screening the candidates.
You should also sit for the technical rounds so your learning will be faster.

You can start with a recruitment company as there are a lot of opportunities there and they also give opportunities to freshers. And then you can move to other HR functions if you like.

Recruitment and Sales are two very different roles. Sales will involve you to travel to clients and achieve targets on a monthly basis. You can opt for it if you like chasing targets and good at convincing people.

If you want to be an IT recruiter, then basic knowledge should be enough. You can keep learning more about the languages or skill sets that are required in IT industry.
What academic background do I actually require for this , is an MBA in HRM mandatory post undergrad in a technical stream like computer engg or bsc in computer science
It is not mandatory, however, it depends on the company that you are applying with. You can learn recruitment and interviewing skills with experience.
