I kept remembering Kaworu saying 'I really was born to meet you.' & Shinji admitting 'I loved him.' to Misato. This made me think, imagine Shinji being reborn, getting flashes of his past lives as an EVA pilot and taking up dance to fight against the darkness he remembers. He'd meet Kaworu in this life after waiting for him, Kaworu would be drawn to him just like he was in their previous lives and maybe they could get the ending they deserved. Maybe, just this once, everyone could survive.
I imagine this as grown up Shinji, where he has finally found a healthy outlet for his emotions. A way to cope with all he's been through.. Who knew he'd become a ballet danseur? Not me, but now that I've seen it.. I almost can't imagine anything else, good for you Shinji! Kaworu's always with you in your heart 🥲

Holy FUCKING SHIT that was amazing!! It had such fluidity, such raw emotion just in the movements, yet also perfectly on the facial expressions. It felt handheld, edited gorgeously. And the actual dance? Also amazing, on top of everything. I was even in awe at the shadow lines. You had time for shadows!?! Just amazing!
