Relative of mine is an alcoholic who is at your rehabilitation center, jail or detention center i cant say, who tried to abscond, staying after 2-3 months but was caught and he was punished by flogging around 40 times with cane stick, this hurt me and my family members, again Instead of improving good health his health is deterioting as day passes. Counselor and care taker should treat the addicted person as a patient and not as criminals. Fearing he is under depression.. your's Rehabilitation center has to change some rules and regulations. Why can't the addicted person meet or talk to their family members for 2-3 months or more. they are completely cut off from family members, as a human beings he need encouragement from families apart from Counselor too..(some) lack of family encouragement and communication won't out come a good result. Remember Not by force but by will.
I don't know what would I define and say in single sentence about substance abuse ..well known as addicted niece and married to SF addicted husband, all I know is to deal like a child during the stage of recovery. Thanks God with prayer and fast my husband is free from drugs. Please remember my family and I'll do remember each and every family who's going through like me.

Chaplain is handsome but the 'eye blinking' like a 'car indicator' reminds me of myself back then. If anyone has a habit of blinking like our handsome chaplain then please go for eye check up and wear a spectacle for eye protection. Eye irritation because of exposure to the elements was the cause for me.

Counselors are really good and really smart at what they do but in my opinion it would he good if the counselors were also recovering addicts so that the things they teach and share their feelings can be relatable and easy to understand for the addicts

I heard its like a concentration camp,its so harsh physically. . . . .for addicts mental n spiritual treatment n well being is more important than physical.(Though withdrawal without Doctor's intervention is not advisable at certain stage).

@@user-jw5ye1zj8d I'm not the client of this rehab but i have been in other rehab center in Dimapur where medicine is provided initially. I had been a user for 5 years and recovered totally now. What i have learnt is that this addiction cannot be deal with force but with love, care, medicine, prayer and counselling. If one is missing then thats inhuman.
