Because the quality of the moving parts inside of the headphones make that sound and if you cheap out on it, you'll just get bad headphones. USUALLY what happens is that these companies DO sell you a great pair of earphones but take a lot of shortcuts regarding the battery and BAM! That's where the issue starts, a badly built earphones with great speakers and not a well rounded quality earphones.

I got a pair of 15$ earbuds from Ross and they have noise cancellation up to -20 decibels. They do sound good though. Santana Luna It has transparency mode too and tap controls
I have the same exact pair, but black, and the only problem I have with them is the blinking lights that never turn off, so they are really inconvenient to use at night. I fixed it by covering the light with electrical tape. they aren't as spectacular as he said though

The mesh on the speakers is one piece of metal with tiny slots making it almost impossible to clean properly. Other than that they are pretty good quality for the price. Their sound in general feels very balanced, a little bit too much in the high end (high hats) and idk what he means but the bass is nice not too aggressive if you're a sucker for bass but it's ok for 50 bucks nuggets! If you want more bass theres an app for em with a equaliser so just boost it in the 20-200 hz range and its fine! So all in all it was a very good investment!
