The next few videos are gonna be absolute bangers, so be sure to subscribe so you don't miss them :) I hope you all enjoy this more casual run compared to random hard challenge run #57, which one of the videos coming up is by far the hardest challenge run I've done in the DLC so far, even more so than the Lamenter's Mask only :)
Im sick of these youtubers milking content Edit: I'm bad with words and didn't want to overdo the joke. I've thoroughly enjoyed the dlc and the content that came from it. It was an absolute joy stumbling into new areas, or walking through a conspicuous gate and having a boss suddenly appear. I adore the light great swords added into the game. I'm sorry that I brought so much negative energy to this silly comment.
Huge step up from the base game imo, which was kind of disappointing for me. Rellana got screwed though. You can barely even tell that her theme is the one from the original trailer, which was absolutely set to be my favorite theme in the game.
The Zelda music in between is always so so so good, love it And really cool idea of doing a casual run in between, it is a nice fresh and calm change from all the hardcore runs being uploaded rn, keep it up !
Great vid, dude. The NPC stories are amazing but can also be convoluted and long. So doing the questlines, especially in a challenge run, just to summon them for the vibes is awesome.
This is how I played my first playthrough of the DLC and honestly I would suggest it, it means you are on level for a lot of the bosses even if they are pushovers and I tried out so many weapons that I never would have otherwise
super excited for your future videos, you're a fun challenge runner to watch also wanted to give props to the editor, he did an amazing job on this one :)
Cerulean Coast was my favorite area just because of how beautiful it was. Other areas had better bosses/things to discover but man, the design of that coast was so peak to me.
Am I alone in thinking that the great red bear bosses are super fun to fight? The have such a well made moveset and give really good openings for both regular and jumping attacks
fyi you can combo the wing stance r1 into the wing stance r2, you just have to keep l2 held the hold time and it instantly does the r2 because the animation ends with the weapon being held in the wing stance pose. there's also a regular attack that ends in the same pose but unfortunately it doesn't combo into wing stance.
Yeah, didn't end up showing it in the video, but at some point I tested out a lot of the combo type stuff of the weapon and it's has a lot of depth to it, pretty cool and fun weapon overall
Bro just ends the video with alrighty ? Kinda was expecting an outro. Was a great video non the less keep up the great work can't wait to watch what ever you've got cooked up next
Freja's Sword having a unique effect of buffing Redmane skills but not coming pre-equipped with one is sich a troll. Especially since I'm pretty sure it has Savage Lions Claw on it when she uses it.
That tibia mariner is not a boss since it doesn't have a boss health bar. Lots of website out there say that it is and some other similar enemies, but only things with an actual boss health bar count as a boss
Cerulean Coast favourite for how it looks, for play? Uh, probably Shadow Altus overall. And Rakshasa is technically in Shadow Altus. Ymir/Metyr too, but you can't face them early on. Shadow Altus is huge.
Yeah I had to move around what bosses counted for what region since I wanted shadow keep separate, so I just counted those bosses as part of the regions after
I think the item randomizer will be out in the next week or so, for the enemy randomizer side of things, who knows that will probably be another month or two is my guess
Kind of amazed how much I managed to find on my own. The only ones I missed are Yoda and the second lion. And of course my maidenless ass hasn't gotten past Radahn yet.
the dlc size i think shocked everyone. we were told Limgrave size. and yah no. it's probably closer to around limgrave, weeping, and Liurnia in size. maybe Limgrave and Liurnia sized at the least. though it is a lot less densly packed. despite that large area there is not many dungeons or bosses. though what dungeons there is outside one. were either fun or short enough to not be an issue. I adore Shadow Keep for example. its a great dungeon. easily the best in the whole game. not that it has much contest.
Currently the DLC is getting a lot of negativity after the honeymoon period is over. It’s refreshing to see Chris doing challenge runs and having a good time… except with Sennesax ofc that boss can suck it
Complimenting Zeroo is not really on my list of things I like to do, but the edits for this were great (the song of storms montage was fire idk why) Edit: yo and then into the TP music? aight

Is it rain of fire only?
Ita op now, it 2 shits bosses and easily does 19k on radhan w good rng@Vesite
Probally a short video, like the dlc is only the size of limbgrave
Im sick of these youtubers milking content

Then why are you even watching this?
@@crumpuscrumpthey love elden ring what u expect them to do?/ make 1 vid then post skibidi toilet?
This mf is being ironic y’all dumb as shit
DLC is way bigger than you give it credit for
“What’s something we can get through with low damage” yoda took that personally
Least obvious ragebait
I love that no one sees his aoe attack on their first run. So they’re always surprised by it on challenge runs.
@@YouCalledForTheDoche pulls out the judgement cut and everyone shits themself

Playing this dlc more and more just makes me appreciate the absolute BANGER boss soundtracks for like basically every frickin boss. Midra's is insane.
Huge step up from the base game imo, which was kind of disappointing for me.
Rellana got screwed though. You can barely even tell that her theme is the one from the original trailer, which was absolutely set to be my favorite theme in the game.
@@trevordillon1921 I love Rellanas IDK also I always liked ER ost. Might be the only one who didn't vibe with ds 3 ost. Too samey.
I really liked the addition of the video clips introducing/showing the bosses of the areas as you "unlock" them. Good idea and execution 😊
ngl your smile at Bayle's phase change makes your tweet really believable :D
remember. the dlc is ONLY the size of limgrave
No not at all
@@nicklundy1970you missed the joke bozo

Its so funny seeing that dragon dude jump while spreading his legs so wide and roll catch the hell out of you w the aow 😭
I would definitely watch an oiled up run. We're talking about the flask tear..right?
Love that you start the challenges from RL1 despite how annoying to set up all of them is, and the fact that no one would care if you didn't.
Yeah I just like the fresh/plain start lol
@@star0christruly blessed us with another banger. Fun detail since I think no one else would care.
@star0chris is it really as simple as copying a file, and replacing it over and over?
@@TimothyGod Yeah I just have a pre made save that I copy over every time I want to start a new run
@@star0chris I swear PC is so much more convenient lol

It's why I've been watching a lot of Zelda videos lately
The twilight princess music on the shadow keep was perfect!
CURSE YOUUUUUU CHRISSSS, I HEREBY VOW THAT EVERY FIGHT WITH BAYLE MUST HAVE IGON
WITH A HAAAAAAAIIIIIIIL OF HARPOOOOOONS UPON THE SUMMONING SIGIL, HE SHALL BE MANDATORY
the cinematic shots of the bosses for each area went crazy hard. Great video man!
I could binge your videos forever, your first playthrough was very enjoyable to watch. Keep it up chrissypoo
Blue flower area is my favorite but my favorite area *reveal* is the finger ruins under the cathedral. I did not expect that at *all*
"define oiled up" 👀👀👀
i hope he just puts a bottle of canola oil on a ladder
Love how bro said he was gonna use martial arts then never did
The way he says “huh” at 16:50 sounds like a Minecraft chest opening
Music choices always sooo good! We vibin‘
Watching this on my birthday with my brother. We love your videos 💜
Hey, it is my birthday too :D (although because of timezones it is probably not the same date)

phenomenal editing! I love the erea introductions and the music choice was🤌
I love the editing on these videos, the Zelda music with the locations is super nostalgic

Great vid, dude.

Even though I finished the games 8 times myself, watching you play is still very much enjoyable...love them so much👏👏👏
man those transitional thematic screens between regions is a fantastic touch!
The montagues of each area and its bosses was really cool. Great video :D

6:06 Answer the question Chris
I sacrificed my first born for you Chris, please dont hurt my family
Really impressive turnaround time on this upload! I watched most of this live, so I'm really excited to be able to see what I missed.
This and the hour long edited randomisers are my favorite
Another great entertaining video by you Chris, thank you. Love the Backhand-Blades btw.
super excited for your future videos, you're a fun challenge runner to watch
also wanted to give props to the editor, he did an amazing job on this one :)
Thank you for leaving the Bayle transition in this time
Editing is giving Twilight Princess and I’m here for it
Man I love those transitions between the areas !
I love that you used so much Zelda music that comes from Twilight Princess in this vid. Really fits the Realm of Shadows vibes
Immolation, oiled tear, thorns armour, you get it. This could be an interesting run. Keep up the great videos!
14:43 “I didn’t summon igon…” the cut to chat one dude just saying “you fucking loser” made me chuckle out loud
I loved the doom music cut to jagged peak
Can't wait to see the "gun" only run :))
I am really looking forward to see you try all these other challenge runs, Mr. Masochist

Cerulean Coast was my favorite area just because of how beautiful it was. Other areas had better bosses/things to discover but man, the design of that coast was so peak to me.
Yeah agreed, Cerulean Coast has such good vibes
cool 2nd intro 10:41 :D and seems like starlined sword doing bleed mostly on weapon art attacks, but i never used it myself tho
14:12 what a goddamn transition
I can't wait for DLC Bingo it's gonna be so brutal
Great Video and nicely edited
Am I alone in thinking that the great red bear bosses are super fun to fight? The have such a well made moveset and give really good openings for both regular and jumping attacks
Yeah I ended up liking them more than I thought I would have when I first saw them, they're pretty fun
Killing freja like that has gotta be some kind of war crime
Ngl I really like this idea, wish it was like this regularly, but I also get the need to keep things fairly not-linear.
Wearing the divine beast helm with the -15% to flasks is crazy
yoshi's island music sold me.
love the twilight princess music glad I'm not the only one that has seen the similarities
Music always on point 🙏

That tibia mariner is not a boss since it doesn't have a boss health bar. Lots of website out there say that it is and some other similar enemies, but only things with an actual boss health bar count as a boss
@star0chris Super, thanks for clearing that up! Just started NG+3 and want to do an all bosses run without summons, so one off the list really helps 🤙
Nice video and play as always, cheers from Germany
"shitty boss" ?! onze is absolutely class
