Odinexpressen front seat on-ride HD POV Tivoli Gardens

There are currently 23 of these Mack Rides custom powered coasters currently operating and 20 of them are located at European parks, including Runaway Mine Train at Alton Towers, Flying Fish at Thorpe Park. Alpenexpress at Europa Park, Grottenblitz at Heide Park, Bob Express at Bobbejaanland, Pikajuna at Linnanmäki, Gruvbanan at Skara Sommarland and Gold Mine Train at Nigloland (just to name a few).

Yeah I have ridden this coaster a couple of times (I live only an hour from it). Not the best ride in the park but I gotta say! That last corner is pretty damn intense!

I agree. But the best ride, but I'm impressed that this rollercoaster box thingy (train) can hold about 3 rounds each.

Rip. Went to Tivoli last weekend, the ride (and also the trees) is now completely gone. And we currently have no details on the coaster that'll replace it

They removed the trees because many people got the hit by the branch with their heads

@@miraiedits Currently there is a new roller coaster in its place called the Milky way express or "Mælkevejen". Its very similar except a tiny bit larger and smoother around the curves and such. maybe a little less intense as such too. But it largely follows the same layout as the old ride.

I've never seen these custom powered coasters, and may I ask how exactly does it works?
I believe it's the magnetic tape on the track I guess?

The train has a driven wheel that runs on the track between the rails. The third rail is underneath on both sides

Runaway Mine Train. It's faster, has a better layout,*and* it goes through the river raft tunnel, which is really unique.
