Aloha, yayy you did it! Excellent job I may add. Stumbled upon your videos, new subscriber here. I knew how to make this one but still watched all of em cause you're too funny, especially da favorite drink, yup gotta have dat 🤣. I did learn something new though, didn't know about the clothespin trick to correct mistakes. 👍🏽 Mahalo nui for sharing and please keep those pua lei making coming. Loved watching all your videos. 🌺🤙🏽
There is a way to add ribbon using double-sided tape. See around 7 minutes 43 seconds into the lesson 3 for details. ua-cam.com/video/v7Qqij0WXUc/v-deo.html
Mine is coming out way different looking. With yours, each "petal" is very wavy. But with mine, they're so compact and overlap to a tightly layered lei. Any recommendations? Am I making them too tight? do I have to rotate or something?
@@rooster32759hey tnx for the reply! Just figured out my issue, my running stitch was too big. Needed to make it smaller. Now it's perfect. I guess the size of the stitch makes a HUGE impact on the final outcome
Thanks for the pump up ! Pause the video at 59 seconds and you will see the list, but here it is again: 14 yards each 7/8" single face satin ribbon, 3/8" picot ribbon your choice of colors. Heavy duty bonded nylon thread, 5" long doll needle, scissors and a clothes pin. Not listed in materials, but shown in video that helped me was adult beverages of choice and some reading glasses ! Good luck to braddah !

Nicely done.
Thanks ! Was put up to it by the old lady. Made one on making bows too. Both are pretty rough! Not as good as you pies am guessing. Stay well.
Thank you for sharing. 😊
Mahalo for watching and Commenting !
Thanks for the great video! How long does each one take you?
If you are familiar with the process, you can do it in an hour or two, but if it is your first time, it may take half a day.
Pretty
Thank you for watching !
What if ribbons are not enough, how do you add more same color

Maybe, but as you say, you could rotate it slightly, spreading it out and making petals as you go.
