we are just getting ready to plant our potatoes. We were going to grow in containers but changed our mind lastnight. They are going in the ground. This has got to be one of the most successful small space crops I've seen so far, . I'm really inspired and very happy for you.

The problem with these videos they always haven't wet potatoes which are neither wet or durablenl.stop waterring the potatoes for the last two werks.also wait until who whole plant has all brown leaves and the stem is falling .This will make the tubers a bigger size.

I love how you just use old boards, old pieces of bricks, old buckets, some twine you have laying around and grow so much food. Here we would go to Lowe's or Home Depot and drop $200 on supplies to grow $40 worth of potatoes. I love your methods it inspires me!!

Great yield of potatoes! I planted Yellow Potatoes in 2 cardboard boxes. I just harvested them today. The first box harvest is uploaded to my channel. I didn't cut the potatoes. I think I still did okay. I will definitely plant them again. Now, I am getting ready to plant Sweet Potato Slips and Russet potatoes

Hola Teo .Gracias,te cuento que ayer hice un bancal con mis papas brotadas .Las pasti igual que tú y les puse ceniza a cada corte .
Las coloqué en el sustrato que ya estaba húmedo por las lluvias y las tapé un poco con el mismo sustrato.
Ahí quedaron protegidas de algunas ramas por encima para evitar el popo de mi gato .

@@LeonidGusak , опытный огородник урожай картофеля может определить на глаз, по ботве. Если картошку завалили удобрениями, то и ботва должна быть отличная. А на трёх хилых стволиках, как в видео, 20 картофелин никак не вырастить. Чудес, конечно, не бывает.
Видно,что клубни,он вытаскивает откуда то из-за куста,видать заранее запихал их для эффекта,а чтобы никто ничего не понял,полил кусты, чтобы всё в грязи было. Иначе я не понимаю,для чего поливать урожай,если ты решил его выкопать.
У меня тоже возникли сомнения.

I was trying to figure out how to plant potatoes this year. I used half of a wooden barrel the last couple years, but it has seen better days. I may try this.

Incredible harvest!,,got it Teo I salute dirty green thumbs, life is in our hands,the idea of the cement on the other side prevents that flesh part from decaying so fast while waiting for the roots to flourish..potatoes is prone to decaying like i tried in the past,over watering and less sunlight is hostile to potatoes.i love the idea of the hollow blocks for temporary use.doesnt need to spend anything.planting is by the heart.

No desarrolla la planta porque no le da el espacio suficiente para que la planta de su fruto, aqui en perú, una planta produce de 12 a 18 kilos, el videos que muestra son diferentes a los que muestra cuando siembra, veo que todo esto es montaje. Nada real

You don't have to use anything really. You might lose 5-10% of the plants if you do nothing. I would find that acceptable.
I think I might know what's going on here. Concrete has lime in it. People in the country have always put powdered lime (calcium hydroxide/pickling lime) on their potatoes to store them, after digging them. It keeps them from rotting by drying them out, just like it removes the water to make pickles crunchy. It also keeps the bugs from eating them.
