interesting. i haven't seen this performance (yet) but my feeling is that the way MFL generally ends is more male chauvisnistic than the way Pygmalion ends. I've always dreamt of a My Fair Lady ending with a less submissive Eliza and a less cocky Higgins.

It's not the MFL for this generation, it's the MFL that's supposed to be done if the creatives pay enough attention to the text.
