    Your Fishing My Home Turf! I love this section of river but the best section I believe is from cedar creek all the way down

      Awesome! It's hard to say what section is best, I think it depends on what time of year!!! Thanks for watchin!!!

    "Shootin Fish In A Barrel". Man what a day out on the river. I need to start making that run out of Boston also. Besides the #s you caught, those few biggins were icing on the cake!!! Based on the bite size on the side of that 1 small mouth I would guess there is either a very large muskie on the prowl or someone released another gator in the river. Thank you for another fun video.

      🤣🤣🤣 I didn't think I would like this stretch of river cause most of it is just like the mon, but after this trip, I am a fan! The area that I caught that smallie with the gash in it, I definitely get the musky feeling for sure!!!! Even the first time I saw that spot I said to myself, "muskie live here!" Although if someone let an alligator on the lose, that would be even cooler to catch!!! Idk how the ned zeppelin would handle a gator bite tho!!!🤣🤣🤣 thanks for watchin ken!!!

    Looked like some good results for the ishqueedo. And some awesome fishing. Crushing the smallies, a few really nice ones. Great job out there! Love that buzzbait bite. Waiting for a little more water in the creeks to bust mine out.

      I am very happy with the performance of this new setup! Someone told me awhilecback that they thought the biggest smallies would come from Buena Vista to Boston stretch. Can't remember who told me that, but man they could be right!!! Buzzbaits are so much fun it's hard to put it down! Thanks for watchin Joe!!!

    Some days you just hit the right conditions and the buzz bait bite is on. Slightly overcast, stained water a little high. Ya you got it. Nothing better than top water. All my biggest fish have come on buzzbaits. Thirty years ago they worked and still do.

    • @fishinwithish
      @fishinwithish  27 днів тому

      Haha, you are absolutely correct! I am slowly learning what you have probably known for many years🤣🤣🤣 so far, my biggest is still on my bladed jig from earlier in the year, but the buzzbait sure does seem to call up the giants!!! It is crazy how, on days they are eating a buzzbait, it seems like a challenge to get them to eat anything else!!! Thanks for watchin!!!!

    Sweet motor and battery brackets; you make that? I know that anyone that mounts their vice cattywampussed, has mad skills.
    I knew the tanks were still down there. 20" is waiting for ya! Was that the island close to the end of the video? Always loved fishing there.
    lol, still showing 5 blue dots, reminds me of the cheapest guy I ever worked with. He needed a rent-a-wreck and bragged about his awesome gas mileage...the gauge was broken!!

    • @fishinwithish
      @fishinwithish  28 днів тому +1

      Yes, I made the motor/battery mount, will be showing that in a video coming up soonish. The vice being mounted on my table the way it is was from when I was a welder. We all mounted them like that as pipe fitters, makes your life way easier to rest a pipe in the vice instead of trying to hold a pipe in mid air and level it! There's a whole lot more having a vice mounted that way does for you but that's the easiest to explain! Yes, the island is shown near the end of the video. In another comment Shawn explained how that battery gauge is useless for a lithium battery, which I believe is because the lithium's have a higher overall battery voltage, so your basically right about it being broken!!!🤣🤣🤣 Thanks for watching!!!

      Me too!!! That may be my favorite footage I have gotten in my life! I would trade every catch that day just to be able to have that buzzbait eat in 4k!!! I honestly thought my yak was a goner!!!!! Thanks for watchin!!!

    I was fishing’ down between Boston up to Buena Vista and the same thing happened to me… Smallies were crushing the 1/4oz buzz, but just weren’t eating ?!? Switched to a Ned rig and picked up one more and called it.

    • @fishinwithish
      @fishinwithish  25 днів тому

      So this video was recorded about 2 weeks ago and between day 1 and 2 was a very big temp drop. I think that temp drop was the first indication for fall is coming and the smallies start doin weird stuff n don't wanna eat. From here on out the number of fish caught should drop but soon enough there should be an increase in size! At least that's how it was for me last year. It's just happening earlier in the year than last year. Thanks for watchin!!!

    is about a mile downstream from boston,
    long extinct factory remains,
    and there are tunnels that lead right onto the banks of the yough,pretty cool.

    I'm running the same motor and those lights are useless if your running a lithium battery. You'll have 5 blue dots until u have zero lol! Ask me how I know. Thats just how lithium batteries work. But still 76% is a lot better than I would get pushing my barge! I live down there. I'll have to try from Boston and see how far I can make it. I'm curious now.

    • @fishinwithish
      @fishinwithish  28 днів тому

      I will absolutely agree that my voltage lights are useless on a lithium battery. I think the lithium battery voltage runs alot higher than lead acid n those lights are designed for lead acid battery. I wish ai knew that before modifying my battery box to hold the volt guage🤣🤣🤣🤣 if you try boston to Buena Vista let me know how you do!!! Thanks for watchin!!!

      @@fishinwithish Are you still using one of those RC plane props we discussed? They were on backorder so I just got mine in the mail the other day. Haven't used one yet...

    • @fishinwithish
      @fishinwithish  28 днів тому +1

      @0342shawn yes! I currently have the 10x5 prop. But I have done some testing with a "non" marine prop from them that was a 12x6 that I modified to be 10x6 and added a slot for the shear pin. That is what got me 5.25 mph. I have since broken that prop with a massively hard hit floating downriver while facing up. So yes it took a massive hit to break it. I have multiple of each prop as backups, May be why they were on backorder!😂😂😂
