Flamenco Dance Warm Up - Legs & Feet - Summer Dance Series Class #1

- In this flamenco dance class I’ll guide you through a short, full body warm up consisting of deep knee bends (pliés), side stretches, foot strengthening exercises (elevés), balancing, hamstring stretches, spinal and neck stretches and light arm and shoulder rotations to get you ready for a deeper dance practice.
This short warm up focuses on the lower body. The plies are for strengthening the quadriceps. We do side stretches for lengthening and strengthening the torso. Elevés are for strengthening the feet, specifically the instep to be ready to dance in heels and the neck and arm rotations to loosen the upper body for braceo.
It’s important to always begin your dance practice with at least a short warm up to avoid injuries and to prepare your body for more intense movement.
This is a free class from Arleen’s Flamenco Sin Zapatos dance series.
Let me know in the comments how this goes for you!

This class was made for busy people that want get moving but don’t have a lot of space or time. Do this short warm up in the morning and combine it with classes that are coming up all summer long. 😃 Little by little a little becomes a lot. 💃🏻💪🏽🙌🏽
I love this warm up
Congratulations on your new class made for busy people. I'm turned on by your warm smile and dedication to the art of dance. You're perhaps the girl I've watched more then any-other thus far on-line. Kinda like my girl friend I have always dreamed about in so many ways. I'll be sure to stay glued to your Summer Dance Series Classes this Summer.🫂👣👩🦼 Did you keep your address from the Belly Dance in LA days? I was going to submit your name for consideration to become a Kentucky Colonel for your dedication to the Art of Dance to Governor Andy Beshear ASAP,
