Royal guard is the most cheeky style when you master it, and those sound effects are so satisfying. Taunting in between all those RG’s is so fun and satisfying.
@@MakioGoHardio DMC3 RG seems hard, but most enemy attack patterns aren’t that varied, plus you can cancel side roll into royal guard to facilitate perfect parries. Canceling jump with royal guard seems easier to do in DMC3 imo. Royal guard is pretty hard to use against bosses tho
@@silverfox8917 Most powerful Devil Trigger since now. Dante gained it stabbing himself with what lefted of the Rebellion after Urizen shattered it, then he absorbed it with Devil Sword Sparda (awakened Force Edge), while Vergil probably got it when he ate the fruit when he was Urizen
@@silverfox8917 another Devil Trigger for Dante that significantly increases your damage and changes your moveset, but only for a short period of time before it depletes

Surprisingly enough, even though I'd consider myself to be a fairly good Vergil player, I actually had trouble performing the motivated combo. It just goes to show that recreating combos the exact same way is harder than executing your own original combos.

It’s a PC mod, so unfortunately you can’t play any character on any level on consoles like Xbox or PS4. you CAN however fight Goliath as Dante in bloody palace. I forgot what stage it was though
Wow I had absolutely NO IDEA you could actually royal release the branches in that hotel. You learn sth new every day. I'll have to showcase this in my Dante guide that I plan to make after I'm done analyzing these last two combos I did.
@@PECULIAR773 yep, you can also royal guard other things in the environment. for example, in mission 3, right before entering the long hallway, Artemis flies by and causes a shockwave, shattering the windows in the hallway.
