We'll have to wait until Fortnite's fame dies, cause thats the reason why UT is dead, Epic will milk everything from that game. UT's comeback it's unlikely, but I'm hopeful

The original UT soundtrack by Michiel van den Bos was so frickin awesome that worthy remixes are rare but man have you cracked it! This is some serious talent here. I hope someone notices....

@@ajayprabhakar285 I'm not sure why so many people think Alexander Brandon did the whole job himself. It was the cooperation of many talented composers. Some of my favorite tracks come from Michiel Van den Bos.
This song is the perfect incarnation of what a true FPS game ought to be. It evokes brutality, frenetic action, and the struggle of fighting and surviving in the arena to win.
That is such a good fusion of all the previous versions of that theme, plus just a bit of that Necto Ulin spice to make everything fresh again. Bloody good job, sir, as always. Strangely, kind of makes me want a UT movie or series. I could imagine this music over the opening credits...
Thank You, Martin, so nice to get such great comment =) Just before I started Main Theme, I've played a lot in UT99 and UT3 and also inspired by Deus Ex Mankind Devided and Terminator Salvation soundtracks, so yes, it's some kind of messy fusion xD
We don't need a UT movie or series. Why do people always want adaptations of good moments onto a medium that ruins them. Just enjoy it for what it is and leave it at that.
It's really pleasant to know that so many people had some amazing memories with Unreal tournament 99. Hell! i wonder what my grandkids would say in the future, when their old man frag them to kingdom come with Quake like reflexes xDD.

Forever will be the greatest fps game in my heart ! i met UT back in 08 by my dad introducing it to me. played UT99 all day all night ''THE LAST MAN STANDING'' was the best game mode ever. hiding in good spots, killing each other , teaming up with randoms , trying to get the op weapon spots first, feeling the rush.

Dude, for real. This is the magnum opus. The final culmination. The main theme just screams Liandri Corp. It's the quintessential theme song of the Tournament. This latest remix manages to capture the tone of UT99, UT2k4, UT3, and what little we got of UT4, all in the same five minute window. It's like a tour through the history of Unreal.

The good old days of Unreal.
They just released a new patch to UT 99 in April 2023. Works perfect on my windows 11 machine and people are still there playing death match, capture the flag etc... Amazing

Hell yeaaaaaaaah! Now *THAT* is *UNREAL!* Seriously, though, this was impressive work and being patient knowing that this takes a huge amount of time was well-understood and worth it. This menu theme, in my opinion, is better than those of Unreal Tournament 2004, Unreal Tournament 3, and the unfortunately halted Unreal Tournament 4. Epic Games is missing out a lot! You are a valid composer for this area, for sure! Waiting for Seeker, and maybe a few Unreal Gold tracks too! Take your time because I know you’ll ace ‘em! - Epsilon, real alias “Seif.”

@@nectoulin Тебе спасибо) На самом деле больше, чем понравилось. Для меня музыка из UT много значит, т.к. я учился на ней, подсматривал приёмы создания подобных треков (т.к. в игре сами исходники в формате UMX, в которые можно заглянуть и посмотреть как Михаэль Ван ден Бос это сделал).
И я очень обрадовался, когда один из моих любимых композиторов Джеспер Кид (к Хитмэну музыку делал) сделал ремейки на UT.
Так вот я могу с уверенностью сказать, что твой ремейк (именно этой темы Меню в данном случае) получился лучше чем у Джеспера Кида.

Unreal Tournament is the OG of FOS games, Quake was good but UT was way more memorable than quake. Fantastic remix! A mix between modern/old-school, and it's amazing! I think this song pack should be added to UT GOTY immediately! Lol it probably won't but it hell with it, but I can dream!

Really nice theme, It almost sounds more industrial in the beggining than in the ending, would work very sweek for some kind of live-action content... I could imagine a new aspirant moving through leaderboards and scenarios (from decadent to scifi st6yle) with the music as he goes up. specially the 2:17 - 3:06 fragment.

I have to listen to it a couple of times more, the original is so stuck in my head, it's difficult to accept an other vision of the song.
