Anyone that wants to fix stuttering issues/freezing (while in a fight it’s so annoying I know) you need to put the dayz full game onto an SSD as the hard drive causes this problem, SSDs load things like terrain and shaders ect. Faster also SSD will make your load times a lot better too When I found this out I uninstalled game, bought my self a M.2 (SN750) and reinstalled it on the SSD now it’s as smooth as a butter ! (If you buy one make sure there enough storage for the game) Hope this helps

"useallavailablecores" is an unreal engine launch parameter, it won't do anything to enfusion, and -winxp is a left over command from real virtuality (the ARMA 2 engine) which hasn't worked in a very long time, since 0.60
these are shared and pasted everywhere, for any 'boost fps' video even 'use more ram!' will come up a lot, even though games like dayz have capped ram limitations due to the engine

Nowadays it probably does nothing. The real answer is the engine is unoptimized and will at the very least dip in performance even on the best PCs still to this day. Turning down settings helps of course, but externally outside of the game there's not really much else you can do. I guess the second best thing you could do is just have a very clean operating system installation that's light and doesn't have 100 various programs starting/idling in your tray at bootup. Sophia Script is decent at this, however there may be better alternatives now.

the folder for the settings is located in Documents > DayZ and then the yourname_settings file is the one that u want to click and open with notepad. Hope I helped :D

Honestly bro my pc runs dayz flawless with steady 100-160 FPS but I want to know how to make trees and objects stop disappearing you know what I mean ? Like when far away stuff kinda pops up and goes away it’s even worse with scum
ola familia, same shit here, i was having an issue with a guy playing ina RX6900 and i ina RTX3070ti, he could see tress and smoke from helicrashes from several meters earlier, but the point is, he was using a better card than mine but with a lowers conf than mine, the Green mountain tower appeared for him much earlier than mine, i was ina almost all extreme settings but for me was fine, beeeautiful graphics that was what i wanted and 100 FPS... i realised that the key POV is starting from your graphic card... memory and stuff, then you must know the game limitation, or do you have a 10^20 Tb of memory to make all those tress and shit appear one by one ? Never forget you are playing an almost old game my friend, but dont mind, they are doing the upgrade stuff and i am waiting for the RTX 40 series, the World is dying and we need a f better card ! Peace !
@@iehudim hey man first off thank you for taking the time out of your day to respond literally have not met one person that has tried to help me yet like you and I’ve played scum dayz eft all of them it’s lowkey frustrating not knowing how to just play the game right I have a legion 5 rtx 3060 6800h ryzen 7 and it pretty much never lags on dayz and graphics are great but scum and EFT on the other hands more so scum eft is minor scum objects are always popping up and disappearing like tress and shadows and even objects right in front of me it’s to noticeable to ignor... I already tried messing with the control panels and got one setting that worked but I touched a setting and everything is ugly again idk

My PC is restarting when im playing for an hour +/- it's frustrating... maybe my graphic's card temeperature is too high idk recently everything was normal
Here is possible issues. 1.Overheat (Can check during game with cpuz and gpuz) 2.Weak Power Supply 3.Your plate can't handle cpu's turbo boost. I mean if your cpu is under turbo boost, it will show it's maximal frequency instead standart which can be checked with Task Manager -> Optimisation.(This happened to me, solution is to turn of turboboost.)(If you gonna search how to turn it off you need to unlock that function first its named Turboboost, so if you find a video where some idiot tells you to low down you cpu usage by 1 percent it wont work.)

with a 7700K and GTX1080, no matter which graphics settings I use, i get roughly the same frame rate. It has to be a CPU bottleneck.
