Hi Mindy, you’ve been on my mind so much lately. I just told my boyfriend this morning, “Mindy is the one unproblematic youtuber I watch. She’s so uplifting and positive, but she’s having it kind of rough right now so is taking a little break.” Thank you for always keeping it so raw and real with us. You are human and going through something awful. You have been so transparent with your platform and showing this will not only create a stronger bond with your followers, but help others going through similar things. I lost my grandma, who was one of my best friends, in November of last year. All I know from that is that grief is a rollercoaster ride. The only thing that really helps is time. Be patient, allow yourself to feel your grief and know that your aunt and dog are in a place where they are comfortable and at peace. We are all here for you Mindy. Oh Mindy. Many kisses and hugs to you. The only thing I can say about losing people, having lost my dad to cancer 4 years ago, is that it gives you strength and comfort in the end. Strength because you think you won’t be able to handle it, and then you do, and life goes on. And comfort because you realise that those people are still alive in your dreams, vividly alive, and they are never gone. Maybe that’s what JKR meant when she said “the ones who love us never truly leave us”. ❤️❤️❤️

My mom is a hospice nurse and she helps to make her patients comfortable and manage their pain so they have no pain. So have some peace by knowing that she wasn’t in pain. I’m sorry for your loss. I can only tell you from my experience is to see her as much as you can. Don’t feel bad when you can’t. But tell jokes, stories & try to normalize everything as possible. We lost my mom last year to metastatic breast cancer & she was a retired nurse with the BIGGEST, selfless heart. She taught us to love everyone no matter what ethnicity & thank god she taught us to be colorblind: everyone should be loved. As weird as it sounds, if it had to be this way, I’m thankful she isn’t here to see the hate going on today all around the world. She was a HUGE ADVOCATE for peace & especially knowable of the racism that still fully lives on today.
