This was so interesting, because I do all Holiday windows free hand, so I got & the idea of using a picture on the other side occasionally. I clean the sills too.Thanks!
You could also tape your pattern inside the window, then simply follow it for your base painting. Then finish with colors

Hi Josh, what paints do you recommend?..
Can I use exterior paint on top of the interior “primer”? I want to paint my shop’s windows!
I’m an artist and that looks like fun….Could you use a projector? They are rechargeable…project the outline the evening before the paint job…just thinking out loud….lol might be a good community project.
I used a projector for a simple wall mural many years ago. It was super useful!
I have been asked to paint a window, but have not done it before. It is plexiglass and they want to change the picture seasonally. It gets strong sunlight. Is there any information I need to be sure of before attempting this?
What colors do you recommend buying gallons of? Black, White, Primary colors? how much paint on average do you use on one painting?
What if you put the image on the inside of the glass and when your done filling is in ….you take the paper down ….no chalk.and cut time.
I'd go with that 👍- but - usually you do a full base coat of White first, which then obscures the details in the stencil. 🤷♂
If painted on the outside of the window, will the paint peel once it rains or snows?
No - depends how exposed to the elements it is, I would guess.
Can you show how to make a large Stan up like that?
what type of paint did you use for the colors after your primer colors acrylic?
Yes I would like to know too! Did you use regular acrylic or does one hafta use wall paint or exterior paint for any murals?
Use interior eggshell house paint

Couldn't you just trace the drawing with a grease pencil. Drawing on the inside. Much faster.
What kind of marker did you use to sign?
If you watched the video you would know he didn’t use a marker 💀
