I just started recently became interested in spray paint art! I found your channel and I am enjoying the lessons! I can't wait for it to warm up enough that I can start doing this outside! My husband won't let me do it in the garage... LOL! I will keep you posted!
super helpful and informative. i just started spray painting a few weeks ago and i've been afraid to try another planet scene so i've just been making abstract stuff. but this makes me want to try a planet again.
I've just started expanding my painting techniques. I usually do abstract paintings and Dutch pours but I really enjoy spray painting and watching your videos has helped more than you think.
Dude im inspired. I was getting a bit board with my creativity so I was just watching random vids, and stumbled upon this. It's 4am, .and I'm about to get my painting on lolz... thanks. I'll be checking more out.
You are AMAZING, Wonderful, So so great!!! Thank you for these tutorials. I’m over 60 was really needing some inspiration for living ..I so happy I found you and tutorials. OMG THANK YOU THANK YOU!!! I wish o knew how to slow the videos down a little bit so I could follow closer;) but thank you!! So enjoyed!!! So much!
Dude thanks ! I just started doing these messing around and some of my friends want them. Haha I’m going to put your vid on repeat. I’m not a artist at all and have no skills like you but it’s pretty cool since I can make something like this without having a crazy artistic mind. I wish my mind thought like you guys.. but thanks for the tips ! I’m going to try them out
I’ve been watching these kinds of videos for years and always wanted to try it. But I was always scared to spend the money on something I won’t follow through with. But I recently found some cans that I can use to try it out.
I see this video is 4 years old lol, but I'm just getting into spray paint art, starting with and probably staying with the galaxy. I have watched a million helpful, informative videos including this one. Thank you for the different ideas than I've seen in the other videos. All are helpful and insightful. This video is just different than a lot of others I have watched. Great tips! 😊
U r superrrrrrrrrb... I made one in black n white.. Ur vedios are so helpful n easy to understand n make.. Thanks.. All this time waited go n learn /learn from expert .. Bt due to covid cdnt.. Ur tutorials are of much help.. Hats off.. U hv shown easiest method.. Thank you so much..
Could you advise if we need to spray anythjng when finished or does smell go away when dry? So excited to do this. I am doing a wall in my house and your ideas make it so exciting!
To be honest with you, with the upmost respect these videos are great. But to be fair you are an expert with your craft and have mastered these techniques overs years of study and practise. You make this all look very easy, which I think for a novice like myself it will be very hard lol. No offence intended, but more of a compliment. Great work..
Brother you're palm trees are still beautiful enough though you say you're bad at them, I'm broke atm but this makes me wanna buy more paint and continue practicing
Great Ideas!! Any-One? I dont use my sprays for longer intermittant time & Thusly after i do use them and obviously upside down spray clean nozzle, ... yet nozzles still get clogged , is there a solution to soak them in To Clean them without melting them? thanx
Absolutely great video. You add the clear coat before etching in the light sources to the mountains. Q: How long can the paint be allowed to dry before the clear coat is ineffective?
Quick question...do you use a certain type of tip to spray with? I feel like the tips I have on my can are all over the place and it's not consistent...some lines are thick and some are thin...sometimes theres junks of paint that shoots out and it's a mess...
I have seen ads on TV from Rustoleum spray paint where they advertise the wide pattern nozzle for more coverage when painting things like furniture and the like of large objects. Try staying away from those.
Sorry if this is a novice question but I only started recently and with shutdown at the moment it's hard to go to store for advice. Is the clear coat stuff you use the same that's sold to seal paintwork as a top coat? When looking online that's what I always find, and seemed like it'd be the opposite of what I'm looking for. Am I just stupid?
I haven't watched ALL you videos just most haha but I do have one question. What side of the poster board are you spraying? Shiny or Matte? I'm curious because I'm looking to spray paint a canvas but I don't think the paint will stay wet enough. I'm primarily acrylic paint but I have a piece in my head and I think spray paint is my path to the look I want. Thanks for all the great info.
I just started playing with spray painting as part of other projects. This is really helpful, thanks. Do the quick colour cans actually spray at a lesser intensity than normal cans, or is that all control?
Dude I’m new to all this and you seriously have made me feel confident in doing things like this . Seriously appreciate it. Only question, what is it that you add to get it wet again? Clear coat? Like b4 you use plastic bag and stuff to scrap or remove the upper layer. Thanks
What should you do if it’s winter and you live in Alaska in an apartment, I tried doing it yesterday but after a bit the cans got cold and started shooting paint instead of spraying
Awesome SpongeBob pencil lol. And great video!

Has anyone mentioned you look and sound a bit like Chris Hemsworth (aka Thor)? Thanks for these videos. Very helpful but also beautiful works of art.
THANK YOU AAAAAAA

Thanks so much for the tips!! Love your work!
Thanks for the comment Amanda, glad you’re enjoying!
Good job, thanks..!
You are awesome.
I just let my paint dry before putting the round object on top and I prevent those rings. Works
Yep!
I think it depends on the can of paint itself. Like rust oleum white gloss and the rust oleum gloss quick coat might spray different
I have seen ads on TV from Rustoleum spray paint where they advertise the wide pattern nozzle for more coverage when painting things like furniture and the like of large objects. Try staying away from those.
H Max
I really like to use those wide ones. Especially for northern lights and shading
The sponges and foam you use, won't the spray paint eat through them? Making certain before I finish this piece I have, that uses foam as a base.
Using a fan brush for palm trees works the best for me.
Good tips, hopefully Rustoleum gave some love your way for all the product placement and name dropping ;)
DUDE I SERIOUSLY NEED TO SAY AGAIN YOU ARE AWESOME. IM TRYING TO PUT TOGETHER AN ART SHOW FOR VETERANS. GOT ANY ADVICE
Sorry if this is a novice question but I only started recently and with shutdown at the moment it's hard to go to store for advice.

ive been wondering about this too :(

Shiny!
You let some dry and some added while wet correct?
I just started playing with spray painting as part of other projects. This is really helpful, thanks.
Do the quick colour cans actually spray at a lesser intensity than normal cans, or is that all control?
Dude I’m new to all this and you seriously have made me feel confident in doing things like this . Seriously appreciate it. Only question, what is it that you add to get it wet again? Clear coat? Like b4 you use plastic bag and stuff to scrap or remove the upper layer. Thanks
Yep! I know this was a year ago and u probably know that by now
Would these methods work on a material roller blind? Thank you
What side of the poster board do you use?
What should you do if it’s winter and you live in Alaska in an apartment, I tried doing it yesterday but after a bit the cans got cold and started shooting paint instead of spraying
Michael Wiles thank you will have to get one
Yooooo I live in Alaska to I just paint in my garage with the door cracked and I wear a respirator
Riley Moma ya that’s sounds great but that’s why I had to point out in an apartment all I have is a yard and a porch..
Be careful in your choice of space heater. Over spray can catch fire as well. Been there. Not fun.
Make sure to have some sort of ventilation is key.
Spencer Wasem thank you for that advice I would’ve never thought of that and found that out the hard way 😅
