Neil Gaiman talks about his craft, Hollywood, and the process of getting an idea to the page

Neil Gaiman is a prolific author of prose, poetry, film, journalism, comics, song lyrics, and drama. He has been honored with both the Newbery and Carnegie Medals. On April 14th he joined Saint Louis University for an author craft talk at the Busch Student Center.

I’ve been a long time fan of Neil. He is now in my list of people when you start a new job, they ask you “if you could have dinner with three people, living or dead, who would they be?” Hands-down Neil would be one along with Robin Williams, Hunter S. Thompson, and Hemingway, because I’m greedy. Of course, there are many others we could throw in for fun.
