So. I am just now watching this. Years later. Honestly, I'm a legit fan of you guys. Fran bow is one of my favorite games. But You guys. Your perseverance. Your dedication. I'm inspired. You went from filming sounds in a bedroom closet to having your own studio and employees. This journey is so fantastic. It got hard sometimes but you kept going. And I respect you so much for that.
This game was amazing. It's been such an emotional rollercoaster. The story really had an impact on me. The relationship between Mr. Midnight and Fran was so beautifully made. The conversations, the phrasing and the choice of words. A masterpiece. I really hope there's more coming from you guys. Developers like you are desperately needed. Great, great work.

As much as I adore this game, after watching this I still feel like I underappreciated all the little details they put into this during my playthrough. The amount of intricate, heartfelt work TWO people put into this gem is incredible. Cant wait for Fran Bow 2, and little misfortune!

I watched a gameplay of Fran Bow when I was 10 years old. It's never left my memory and I am 18 now. I recently discovered that the creators of the game were two incredibly capable people with a small team behind them! Outstanding. This game has my heart and respect. Thank you for what you create.

Please make Fran Bow 2!! I absolutely loved everything, the story-line, the hidden messages, the characters, the design, the music, the ease of moving around, the whole focusing on actual story instead of just stupid "jump scares" like most horror games do nowadays. Please, we want a second game with more details about what's going on and more beautifully drawn creepy places, houses, etc. :)

I think some games don't need any sequel, Fran Bow is the PERFECT example of those. The parts of the game that need interpretation and seems to be missing details are actually a big part of the game itself, it's perfect as it is, and doesn't deserve any more explanations/sequels.
BUT
If you mean that Killmonday Games should do ANOTHER game, then I totally agree with you ! (seeing this video, I think they deserve to take a rest first hee hee :) )

What an emotional journey. This is about as humble as game development gets without using a cardboard box as a desk. After reading the mortem-post last year on the Killmonday website and the hardship you both endured, I wasn't sure if you were going to drop the career and have Fran Bow be a one-off story to look back on. ‘Hey, remember that time we made a computer game?’

indie game makers like yourself inspired me to make my own indie horror game :D i still have a lot to learn as i’m only 14 and i probably won’t be done for a while haha but it is a lot of fun working with my friends even if it doesn’t turn into anything big :)

I have been in a rut for the last several months in regards to employment, and whether or not I have purpose in my life. As I'm watching, I'm starting to realize how I am worth the time I have on this planet as a creative soul. Moving past my doubts and realizing what can be accomplished with a lot of focus and consistency, this small window into your lives and your experiences as a creative team is humbling to watch. With thou two sharing, I don't think I would have found a small glimmer of myself to salvage. So, thank you for saving me.

My experience has been somewhat similar since I heard about Little Misfortune release, played it, fell in love with this studio and its art vision, played Fran Bow, loved it as well, and started watching the vlogs. It's very inspiring and beautiful to see them go through their creative process and rise to success from their humble beginnings.
I started a tech company after finishing college last year but it hasn't gone anywhere yet and we reached a point where we couldn't sustain ourselves financially, so we had to get ourselves paying jobs. I suddenly realized that all career opportunities I used to be interested in don't excite me anymore, and I've been struggling to find something meaningful for myself.
Their story is a great example of synthesizing meaning in life through creativity and hard work, and it's absolutely beautiful. Natalia and Isak are the definition of coolness - their weirdly cute and cutely weird outlook tells me that they're truly FREE individuals - and there's nothing cooler than that. That's why they are able to fully unleash their creativity and bring us such wonderful artistic masterpieces.

Omg Natalia and Isak and the whole team that worked on Fran Bow, gaming has been a massive part of my 40 years of life, I have played somewhere close to 1000 games, and Fran Bow was one of the most refreshing, creative, mindblowing games or stories I have ever seen, it left me with so much to think about. Thank you for bringing such a rare level of amazing creative art into this world!

I really loved the game! Fran Bow is now one of my favorite horror games, I love the plot, the complexity of every little bit of it especially how you portrayed a little girl with a mental disorder to have this disturbing but a very fun adventure, and the ambiguous ending you did! Gaaah, I hope there's a sequel.

I have played several hundred video games since my childhood, including Fran Bow who has been in my overall top 10 for several years now. I didn't even know it had been developed by these two awesome people and so independently. For me, this is arguably the best example of what indie video games can provide as unique and emotional experience. Thank you so much guys !

So I just bought the game and I've been a long term fan for so long. I genuinely never knew that only 2 people made this game, so much work, intricate details, dedication and love has been put into this game that I can't help but have so much respect for you too. Natalia and Isak deserve more recognition for their game.

About 6 years ago I saw this and loved seeing the behind the scenes of such a creative and well made indie game which I learned more about a bit before then,I liked the dark humor and indie feel of the project and filming to me and felt inspired to get down and work on my own art,story and indie project which I'm still working on now but with now and have created so much more since then.
I really enjoyed this documentary 💖 thank you, Isaak and Natalia, for making me feel related to others and giving me hope 💖

For the first time, when I became acquainted with the history of Fren, I was delighted. The game succumbed to me surprisingly easily, and as a twelve-year-old child, I passed it in a few hours. Each time I went through this story, I became more familiar with the heroine. She took an important place in my little heart. I've loved this game since the first moment I watched it, it hit me so hard.
People, usually, don't realize how laborious and difficult animation can be; I'm not an animator myself (just a young art historian), but I know enought about this technique to take off my hat with your work.
The story you made is beautiful, an intense emotional roller-coaster, dropped with philosophy and wisdom.
The love you put into this game can be feel by any person who comes into contact with it.
Is not easy to organize a big story in your head, keep working in it everyday, specially when you're depressed or too tired to even blink, or to face the fear of failure or thoughts like "what the hell I'm doing? This stuff is a big pile of nonsenses, there's no way that a single person could like it"...
That's why I feel admiration toward you guys.
You need to awake your inner strength to make your dreams come true, and that requires suffering as well as bravery to accept the happiness this road gifts to you.
You guys just made an amaizing masterpiece, you show to the world that videogames are an art discipline as good as the others and you filled a little place of our hearts.

i love Fran Bow sooo much for its amazing art, lore, and really everything! all characters were well made, and as an aspiring psychology major in the future, it's brilliantly creepy! tho looking at this i wished i looked way deeper on the little details you guys worked on because it's amazing really :)

Usually… I don’t write comments like…at all , but this game had a HUUGE impact on my teen life ( I’m still a teen tho 16 years ).
So… at first , when I saw this game , it made me feel really hopeless and scared , I really thought that Remor will come for me or my family ( I think I was 10-11 years old).
But… I became a huge fan back in 2019 and I watched this video more than one time.
I would like to say that Natalia and Isaac you are my huge inspiration in life !!

I admire Natalia as the wirter and creator, can't believe this entire game actually was created by her. There is such a lot of details and creative ingenious art I'm in love with. Very inspiring. There are some very simple statements behind it, but how it is realized is such amazing. For example the meaning of Pain in Life - kind of simple, but I think you can really understand it deeper than before. Thanks for this game everyone behind it, it gave me a lot.
