Thank you! Exactly the frame I acquired (in pieces) which is now assembled thanks to your video 🙏
Glad I could help!

Can this frame be used to go around an adjustable bed base...without the center rail?
No, this is not the type of a frame to go around the perimeter of an adjustable bed base. I'm not too sure why you'd want to do that, as this frame is used to support a box spring as well as a mattress, and as such there would be no use for it if somehow you'd place it under an adjustable bed base, as adjustable beds don't use a box spring. Maybe you're thinking of a frame that would connect to both a headboard and a footboard (what is commonly called a rail system), and many people do choose to place their adjustable bed bases within the perimeter of a bed set (headboard, footboard and rails to connect them). The only other thing that I can think of is that maybe you're considering attaching a headboard to this frame, giving your adjustable bed base the look of having a headboard. But if this is the case, it won't work well, as you need the weight of the box spring and mattress placed upon the bed frame to stabilize things. So, COULD you place this bed frame underneath an adjustable bed base? Quite possibly, depending upon the location of the legs of your adjustable bed base and how much they are recessed from the side edges. Another thing to consider, depending upon the height up your adjustable bed base legs, is there could be a possibility of the frame interfering with the articulation of the adjustable bed base. But most of all, I'm curious as to why you're considering such a move. Maybe you're considering something unique that I've never run across, and if so, knowing what that might be I can be more accurate and specific in my reply.
Thanks again! U r so helpful.
+Christina Rutherford You're welcome Christina.
I think Mantua needs to use your instructions to put these things together. The instructions are some of the worst I have ever seen on one of these bed frames. Your tutorial helped me get the thing put together in 2 minutes. Thank you so much!
I'm glad you found the video useful!
Thank you so much.....
thanks
@afrodiva27 Glad to be of service.
Thankyou sooo much..
+Cathy Jordan You're welcome.
Thanks a lot!!!!
+kingbaker9980 You're welcome!
What if the two center locks aren't going into the middle grooves? Do I hammer them in? This bed frame is a pain ugh
If the center rail tabs aren't lining up with the grooves to receive them, my concern would be that the frame isn't being assembled correctly or that the parts are not the correct ones for the frame. The grooves in this frame to accept the center rail are usually more than adequate to allow the center rail to slide into place. I have on occasion had a center rail section that fit more snugly, but this only required slight side to side rocking to get the parts to fit into place. I'd be hesitant hammering or using excessive force to get anything to go into place on these frames - that shouldn't be necessary and could damage your frame.
@@BeducationMattress thank you for your help! The bed frame is a 70's model I believe, it looks just like the one in the video, I used your technique of using my feet to lock in center rail and it went in the grooves with a litte tap of a hammer. One of the metal notches on top of center rail was worn a bit but all fits good now. Thanks
I'm glad you were able to get everything into place without having to bend or break anything. That's great!
How about the king sized version? the holes for the middle frame does not line up.
Dennis, the center rail always lines up in the center with the joining piece - there is only one way to assemble that part. To set this up for a king size or a California King, you simply adjust where the joining center piece meets with the arms that swing out form the side rails. There are three sets of key holes on this frame - for a queen, a California King and am Eastern King. If your center support is not in the middle, then one side of the bed is adjusted to a size different than the other side.
Can this specific frame still be purchased as I HATE the way frames are made these days
The current version of this frame (queen/king/California king) is called the Rize I-CS374PR (rollers) and I-CS374PG (Glides).
@@BeducationMattress oh great thank you for your response I greatly appreciate it
You're welcome!
How to put the wooden base together for the knox bed thanks
Hi June. I'm sorry, but that bed isn't something I offer or am familiar with (a search on the simple term "Knox Bed" turns up quite an array of items). I'd suggest you first contact the retailer where you purchased the bed for assistance, or do a search online for the manufacturer of the product and go to their website to see if they have downloadable instruction or a customer service number. Good luck!
Will this frame size down to a full?
This Particular frame, the older Mantua ICS-375, adjusts into either a Queen, California King, or an Eastern (Traditional) King size. It does not adjust to smaller sizes such as Full or Twin.
I need help with a king
This particular frame is a queen/king adjustable frame (as are many), and the only difference in assembly would be that the "keyholes" where the side-arms lock into the center joining piece would be used at their widest position. There are usually 2-3 sets of "keyholes" in adjustable bed frames on the arms that swing out from the side rails. In this particular frame, there are holes in three different positions to accommodate a queen, California King or traditional king size set of foundations.
Thank you! The instructions I got made zero sense!
