- Midnight Blue - a colour synonymous with good rest. Why? It mirrors the hue of the night sky, naturally signalling the brain to prepare for sleep. Its deep, calming tone promotes relaxation, aligning with the body’s circadian rhythm and encouraging the release of sleep-inducing hormones like melatonin.
But could I capture that in a sound?
By recording fabric scratching and straw blowing, then filtering them through my usual process (using elongation and frequency pass filters), I crafted a steady yet slightly contrasting Blue Noise. To add the "Midnight" element, I darkened it with a touch of deeper Brown Noise, created from a rice shaker.
For an extra layer of comfort, I blended in a deep, subtle Solfeggio Tone at 174 Hz, believed to relieve pain, promote relaxation, reduce stress, and support healing by grounding and calming the body.
Together, these elements create an incredibly deep, rich, and comforting sound-perfect for drifting into a long, restful slumber.
So for tonight, sleep long and sleep well, friends! 😴❤

I subscribed to your channel this month. I needed this episode as my frozen shoulder was acting out unexpectedly and more painfully than ever despite regular exercises, creams, and supplements. I was able to go back to sleep easily when I awoke from time to time in the middle of the night and am feeling very refreshed this morning.
