My first time in Mexico was in a Winnebago RV 34 years ago. Our RV almost broke in half because of the horrible roads. We had a full water tank in the back under the bench. The bad roads and the weight of the water started to weaken the frame as well as the body of the RV. We emptied the tank into clean 20 liter water bottles, put them up front, and had a small town welder put on two big pieces of hardened rebar. Stiffened the frame perfectly. That got us back to Washington DC. We could even put water in the tank again. I began going to Mexico on a regular basis after that, and got a house in Saltillo. The house in Saltillo was huge, and on a 4 lane downtown road. I kept that house even after I got a place here in Guanajuato state. In 2012 there was a HUGE shootout in front of my house in Saltillo... which... 8 people confirmed dead. I moved out of that house the next day to a different side of town, and took my stuff and combined my houses to a bigger house in Guanajuato. Never looked back at Saltillo except to visit a dear friend in 2013, 2014 and 2015. We have a cabin in Michoacan, but... we cannot go there for the past year because of the kidnappings, carjackings and murders on the route. Mexico is getting viciously dangerous, but I'm not moving. Just going to continue on, but BEING EXTRAORDINARILY CAREFUL. We can do better than just survive here. WE CAN FLOURISH. I love Mexico 🇲🇽 ❤️.
White vinegar on marine stings ASAP and hot water soak to neutralize the toxins. I used to work in a health clinic bout a mile from the beach here in South Tx. 👍😎 Saw those injuries all the time. Puncture wounds...gonna need antibiotics. Keep the content coming ❤️.
Wonderful and we love you including more of your nature sojourns and like most people... we love dogs. Love getting to see and know your doggos more 💗🌮🎶
We really enjoyed your videos of those beautiful beaches and friendly people, thank You. That's weird that the middle fridge hinge broke. Usually its the lowest hinge that breaks because it supports a lot of weight. Probably best to only keep lightweight foods on the doors. But, there's always gonna be something breaking even on the most expensive class A motorhomes. Eventually you accumulate enough tools and supplies to deal with just about anything. Safe Travels!
I don’t think you guys got bothered by banditos because they we’re watching your UA-cam travel videos, & saw how your rig is falling apart! I hope you have better luck after the last fix.
@@LetsJustGoTravel Just a question of curiosity, you guys traveled from Canada all the way to Mexico.. as of now have you guys had any axle/bearing issues? especially with it being single axle traveling cross country? I'm looking to get the same RV but folks are being neysayers over this single axle TT.. please advise.
@@Bronco2Cj we’ve had to get our brake assemblies replaced on both sides because of grease contamination in the drum. We don’t know how it became contaminated as we always greased our bearings as per the manufacturer’s instructions. But in any case we got them replaced under warranty and other then that we’ve had no issues
What psi are you running in those E rated Goodyear Wrangler truck tires? If you’re running 80psi, that’s way too hard in my opinion for the 5k lbs max GVWR. Hard enough to beat the trailer to death. We’re looking at the same trailer to downsize to in big part for the single axle truck tires. I’ll run mine at the most 65psi. We’re enjoying your videos!
Jayco doesn't look very reliable. Too bad since they were at the top of my list for a travel trailer from 3500-5000 pounds that I can tow with my 2020 Passport. I really don't know why they would use plastic parts for such high durability requirements. Sigh.
To be fair it wasn’t jayco that designed the fridge it was dometic. But I agree things should be built better. All trailers and RVs will have problems after long term usage and this isn’t exclusive to Jayco.
They sure don't make these things well anymore. W essentially destroyed a tow behind on the bumpy roads of Idaho. I can imagine the roads there are pretty rough on them. Thanks a lot for watching! We do wish the trailer was a bit more durable but we deal with it as best we can haha. That’s cool that you’re an archeologist!
@@LetsJustGoTravel I hope it holds together. It sounds like an epic adventure. If you like archaeology, I hope you will enjoy the channel. We sure like to run our mouths about it. :)

Bummer. The trailer has gone through a lot. Good job on the fix.
Yeah hopefully it holds together!
My hubby was laughing at your fix 😀 but hey, you did it! Great job! Happy travels, stay safe and keep us posted👍☀️
Definitely not the best looking fix we’ve ever done 😂😂😂 thanks for watching !
Cool stuff you two. Keep it up. Live your dreams….
Thanks for watching !
We read somewhere that the shaking in any RV is like a constant earthquake to the parts and cabinets and appliances. They will eventually break down.
Definitely! We pretty much always find things rattled loose whenever we get to a new site
Great video! See you on the FB page.
Thanks see u there!!
Loving your logo.
Thanks!!!
The day we purchased our 171BH, our refrigerator door fell off on the way home from the dealership 🤣
Damn!! Talk about bad luck

Thanks for the tip about lightweight objects in the door! Glad you enjoyed the video

We do run 80psi as per factory recommendations. I never thought to question it !

Maybe your choice of RV brands wasn't the best choice.
Hahah I think about that a lot ! 😂
