How exactly do you train a dog that only does a command when given something? i wanna get to the point where i don’t have to give him something, in order for him to do it. has a very smart mind of his own
This is the Start if you want positive attitude and confidence from the dog. First Creat desire and habits with many reps. Overlay negative reinforcement to behaviours taught with positive. Now dog must do what it loves to do.
Training is a process like relationships and growth.
Need I have a three month German Shepard puppy and I had him doing good but then he got parvo and he's been down for a week he's just now starting to eat and getting back to himself but he's not wanting to go outside to potty what can I do to get him back on track again?

This worked great for a day, then my 4 month old figured out that acting out got her treats. Not she just acts out more
