I hope you got the extended warranty as I have the gmc Sierra and drive a lot and 3times last year I had to take my truck on for minor issues and left without a vehicle for roughly the same amount of days as your truck Today the SERVICE ESC popped up and flashing check engine symbol I’ve had my truck for 2.5 yrs now with 87k+ miles and it’s ridiculous to have constant issues
I got mine 2 days ago did a 3 hour drive home and parked went to work the next day and it was idling rough and the ESC and service traction control came on
Just happened to my 2021 Trail Boss with 18800 miles on it they said they don't have a loaner and can't get it in for 2 weeks and my vehicle was the 3rd one towed in that day. Mine was an Service ESC warning that turned into a misfire code. I'm looking to trading it in for a Toyota
I have a 2020 Duramax and this just happened esc failure reading on the instrument panel. It won't start. Coincidently this is month 37 with 44000 miles.
6700 miles on my 2022. Got the ESC light, traction control light, check engine light. I scanned the codes and got power steering code, cylinder 7 misfire code. Rough idle as well. Next morning all back to normal. Next day after that all error lights on again. First available service appointment is a month out. Truck parked till then. Funny thing is this truck replaced my 2003 suburban due to check engine light and fuel pump failure at 200,000 miles. Pissed.
It went to dealer twice. 1st time no stored codes. Picked it up and one stop later same issue. Drove right back to dealer and codes stored. Replaced cylinder 7 fuel injector, fuel rail and fittings. Problem resolved for past 3 weeks so far…. Fingers crossed.
Hey man, I’m having this same problem now with my 2022 Trail Boss. Is it running good now any more issues like this? Thinking about exchanging the truck under warranty
Just happened to me yesterday. Hoping they’ll tell me what it is tomorrow when they open but I’ll probably be waiting around like you did considering how backed up the dealers are with these pieces of junk. Should have never left ram. Fingers crossed it’s the fuel pump like yours and not lifters or something catastrophic.
Yes just happened to me also . 2022 Trailboss. We’ll had truck 5months, 4 days pass oil change. Service ESC on, Service traction Control on, 18500 klm. Now I live 3hrs away from Any Gm Dealer, also only have this vehicle, in which I use to work my job with. Hope Canada has different results, regarding rental. 🤞🏽🤨
I alsop have a trail boss and live in Alaska, same thing little longer on oil change but only 7k miles and the Traction control ESC and check engine is on with a horrible sounding engine, oil is not low. Basically non drivable and i have to brage it down to Washington. Gonna push for them to replace it as i don't have faith this isn't a very serious issue.
This just happened to me our truck is only a year and half old and we're out of town on a trip and my car is at home but it's in the shop! I have no idea what we're gonna do.
Mine happened the other night. 7k miles. Talked to the dealer and they tried to say it was cuz a 3.5” lift I put on. Second time in shop and a total Of 6 recalls. May never go back to GM.
5k miles, 2022 gmc sierra. Add me to the list. Waiting on my repairs. 2 people have blown engines ahead of me before they change out my fuel injectors. 😮
@DevilLos yes, truck was running real bad. Mine was one of the fuel injectors was bad. On one of my cylinders it would get stuck closed. So the truck wasn't getting the right amount of fuel. Mine has been repaired now.
8 minutes and 39 seconds of my life I'll never get back.
Just happen to me today on my 2022 Silverado with 14k miles… 🤦🏻 thx for the vid.👍🏻
Same here just like an hour ago. I purchased the pickup late October last year.

Update: they said it a bad fuel injector. Part is backordered. Guess it’s a waiting game.

I have a 2022 gmc sierra. I got the ESC service light. Is that the same problem you had? If so, what was the issue?
@DevilLos yes, truck was running real bad. Mine was one of the fuel injectors was bad. On one of my cylinders it would get stuck closed. So the truck wasn't getting the right amount of fuel. Mine has been repaired now.
