    Yeah I’m young, but I’m small for my age, weak for my age. So many reasons for me to give up and not try. But there’s something, something that won’t let me. I’ll try my best and see where it gets me, in Gods name

    We need to be different. I need to be different. It starts from me. It starts from me taking that first step. It starts from me putting my head down and running with content, determination and vigor. It starts with me getting close to the people I love and working for them. It starts with me believing in our God. It starts with me doing the uncomfortable things in life. It starts with me getting sick of me being mediocre. It starts, It continues and It ends.
    My name is Samuel Chu. I will be on a bigger stage than I have ever been and I will say to people that I manifested it through this. I am sick of not being the best. I am tired of looking up to people and thinking that I will never be like them.
    2024 is the year. Start now, don't start on Monday. Have the discipline. Have the motivation. I can do this. You can do this. I pray for y'all, god bless.

    Everybody is unique. Don’t be the best, normal. Be yourself

    • @Kryzem.
      @Kryzem. 8 місяців тому +5

      everyone is unique - but you can either be an individual of quality, or an individual of laziness/mediocrity. The gifts/traits you have are unique to you, but are you going to actually work hard to become somebody of value?
      To say don't be the best, be normal - is just laziness. To say be yourself, is an excuse that you're lazy and don't want to put in the work.
      But you can do it, you CAN win. Believe in yourself, you can become anything you want to be.

    So can anyone tell me, objectively, what’s wrong with being ordinary? With just being a person? All these clips say being normal’s fine but there’s this subtext under their comments that make it seem like being average is bad.

    • @kly826
      @kly826 8 місяців тому +4

      It's not that being normal is a disease or a bad thing... Too many normies complain and regret later on in life about why they didn't risk more or pursue their ambitions... Instead of listening to everyone's opinions, playing it safe or 'doing the right thing'...
      I've met a lot of interesting personalities that echo the same sentiment about wishing they weren't oblivious to once in a lifetime opportunites like great scholarships to startup great careers, instead marry a childhood sweetheart and settle down.. Only to resent the very person they sacrifice their career for 20 years later... Or segue a business or degree into a lucrative niche instead of sticking to your guns because a parent said no to that idea...

    • @kenny6643
      @kenny6643 8 місяців тому +2

      @@kly826 again the use of the word “normie” just reinforces my point that there’s a culture of shaming inherent within this sphere. The words say one thing, but the messaging and tone say another.
      But anyways, there’s a difference between striving for greatness and just living a good life. There’s nothing wrong with not having the aspiration to become a millionaire or start your own business or climb the corporate ladder so long as you’re taking care of your responsibilities and you’re satisfied with your life. I think a lot of those people feel negatively about their situation or regret because they listen to messages like the ones presented in the video and don’t have gratitude for what they have. A lot of wealthy “successful” people are lonely because they were too focused on the grind and now they’ll always doubt if people are around them for them or because of the status.
      Just saying, seek to live an authentic and genuine life that you can be proud of. We don’t need much to be happy.

      @@kenny6643 That's true, happiness and success is subjective, but I like to think that after I become unique in some sense, If i don't feel happy, I can easily go back to being normal. Its not really possible to go from being normal to unique after a certain point in life but it's vice-versa is easy.

  • @Lexx0x0
    @Lexx0x0 8 місяців тому +4

    It's absurd to me how people won't risk anything, nor put it all on the line to be something great in their lifetime. They rather just coast and live life so sheltered to arrive safely to death. You gotta get tired of being normal, the excitement the best rewards sit on the other side of the toughest tasks, the biggest risks..
