Hi Stalo Fab, your UA-cam videos & explanations are great keep up the good work, i will be looking at a chassis swap on my 1947 Jailbar shorty using a 4WD 2005 RH drive V8 4.6 Ford Explorer which should fit as i have measured the chassis rails & the cab will sit over with ease, only difference is the explorers has a Independent rear end, if you lived closer i would fly you over here to New Zealand to do my conversion, ill keep reviewing your builds to help me with my refit. I also have a 1948 Ford Bonus which will be my next project if this one comes out ok. Cheers for all the information. Eric

Frame commonality between 85 Ford Pick up, and 85 Ford vans. I have an 85 F-250 4X4. I'm considering swapping the bed and cab for a van body of that same year run. How compatible are they?

I'm in Yuma, AZ. How much do you charge for a frame swap? I'm planning on getting a 98 ford explorer xlt. I don't have the best as mine was a wide 5. And WW2 truck. I a welder and a mechanic as well but idk where to start. I'm not a fabricator lol
Cars and Karaoke A ranger frame is a small pick up truck compared to a midsize Ford explore the Ford explore also comes with Disc brakes front and back,V8 engine, huge sway bars front and back,8.8 Ford rear end Ext lol pretty much a good package already put together..No Ford Ranger comes with that stuff and again it’s a small pick up truck it would not be able to tow... My Frame Swaps I’m able to tow With no problem and Stop lol

Gary B No wheelbase modifications were needed .. I made my own brackets to hold the front clip and cab on with the bed

chris kriewall S 10 bed was the only one I found that fit good only Chevy part in the whole build lol

I watch the whole video and the only thing I didn't quite get was using the S10 bed? Why couldn't you just use the factory Ford bed?
