OMG!! Elvis was so special and spectacular! Seeing him with those kids ❤ he loved kids.. he really loved everyone!.. he had the biggest heart and soul and cared for everyone ❤ Wouldn't it be great if everyone cared and had a heart like Elvis ..
Elvis was a wonderful person. Thousands of parents have given their children Elvis on stage because they know that Elvis was a wonderful person who really loved everyone. He really loved people (so say those who knew him personally). I've been an Elvis fan since 1976 and I keep seeing new things about Elvis Presley. Elvis gave us so much. he was more than just a king.
This brought back so many wonderful memories. Wish I could go back in time and live the time of Elvis all over again, that time frame is the time I would love to be stuck in. Love you always, Elvis.
I'm working on a time machine , but all it does so far is TELL time....The hard part is getting time to go forward or backwards...If I had another 40 or 50 lifetimes I KNOW I could figure it out.

My mother went in 1976. She enjoyed the show. A mother of 6 held The King of Rock’n Roll in a special place in her heart, as did any self-respecting mom back then..
Elvis on stage interacting with the fans. I could watch that all day long. The part where that little girl hugs E's leg is priceless. Anyone know why Ronnie Tutt wasn't on drums this night?
I really enjoyed the footage Trey.He was really good with the kids.I wish I could of been in that arena, the atmosphere must of been electric. Thanks Trey.
So cool and i was at that concert. I am so glad i got to see him live. I remember thinking at the time i wish our seats were down on the floor. Good job trey
I miss Elvis I love looking on at the vedio of Elvis and children on stage with him and so nice for a change that the fans were giving Elvis gifts ,Elvis deserve our gifts in return to not just Elvis giving people's gifts . So beautifull for the fans give Elvis a gift . I was very young 1973/4 my family are not traveler's but I do keep my love going for Elvis he will never be forgotten never forget . Thank you trey and Billy I'm right over the ocean Sydney Australia here 28Th Wednesday June 2023 ❤
I love to have those children ( now in their 50's ) to comment on this site, that would be great to read some comments from them . Great Video and Thanks for putting this out - Great Work
One of the cool things about that coliseum is the roof, that dome makes the acoustics in there really cool.. I have been to a lot of shows there and the sound is awesome!
Wow what great footage of Elvis Presley in concert with kids. And that picture of Elvis making his first appearance in 1956 at the Charlotte Colosseum. I always enjoy seeing Elvis Presley no matter what his age was! This is as close I will ever get to see Elvis Presley in Concert. And who knew that Mike Jordan started out her playing Basketball and he know known as Michael Jordan!😊 Thanks again Trey Miller!
I Was there April 13, 1972 It was an Awesome Show! Also was there February 20, 1977......Another Awesome experience:) sadly it would be the last time I ever saw Elvis In Concert:(
Elvis and MJ in the same video! Doesn't get any better than that. Another great one Trey, this footage was awesome to watch. You can tell Elvis was having a blast that night.
I went to the Charlotte Coliseum about 1994 to see an oldies show and at the opening of the show there was an Elvis impersonator. This is the same building... well anyways, later on I was in the bathroom down under the mezzanine and the impersonator came walking out of the stall right beside me. I said "Elvis you put on a good show tonight" and the guy said "Thank you. Thank you very much." I thought it was awesome, lol
It was my first time seeing too and was lucky to have someone send me the footage because it tells a story of how Elvis interacted with the audience at the show..
Very good footage and sound from those homemade clips of Elvis. It's always great to be able to find decent footage of him on stage. That arena - amazing it's still around. I love the architecture of old places like that. it puts you right back in the time frame of when they were the places to go. So much history in a place like that. Very interesting. And the Michael Jordan history is an added plus. Great job, Trey......Thanx again. Until next Tuesday (or perhaps that special vid thrown in between) - Take care, my friend.
Thx for posting- Elvis is so fun, always gets me laughing. Enjoyed seeing elvis tossing his guitar around, and gentle attention to fans children, . Joy and fun
He was so good with the kids and that one little girl held on to him , everyone seemed to just be drawn to Elvis he definitely had something magical about him , that's why we still love him today xxx
You did not double dribble with this fantastic live clip of the awesome Elvis. Thank you Mr. Trey and whoever sent it to you. I wish we could have those simpler days back...(70s). Elvis was fantastic with those kids !! He definitely TCB. Did you notice that the late Mr. Ronnie Tutt was not on the drums? I wonder why ? God's speed.
Ronnie had a family emergency a couple of times when he was Elvis. In 77 a few months before Elvis died. Ronnie lost his dad I think it was. He missed like 3 concerts. I remember him saying he was upset about missing the concerts. It might have been his mother. Can’t remember exactly.
This is the first time I've seen any live footage of Elvis with him handing out scarfs to kids. Love to see more of that ,it's great he had and still does have fans of all ages ❤
Thank you Trey, I wish I was there to see this concert ! As you showing the video and describing step by step the event; It feels as if I was! Great Video as always Arrivederci!
When Charlotte finally got a basketball team, there was a large arena being built on Tyvola road for the NCAA tournament, and then to be the Hornets arena. However, it wasn't finished yet, so the very first season of the NBA the Hornets played right there in that arena you were in. That area there was really cool, because there was an auditorium right next door (which is still there) called Ovens Auditorium. It's a smaller venue (maybe 2000 seats?) so smaller acts played there, but it's still kind of like it was when it was built in the 50's to this day, as is the coliseum. If an act was too big for the auditorium, they would be booked in the arena next door. I think the arena on Tyvola was built in 1987 or 88 and finished in time for the Hornets second season. They eventually tore that arena down, the main problem it had was there weren't enough private corporate box suites for an NBA team, but it was a HUGE arena, and they set attendance records every year there because every game was sold out, and it was the largest arena in the NBA. When the Hornets went to New Orleans and the city was without a basketball team, they tore the arena on Tyvola down, then built a new one downtown for the Charlotte Bobcats (which later was renamed the Hornets again). So the Charlotte Arena completely survived another, larger, more modern arena being built, and then torn down, and the Charlotte Coliseum is still there!
ELVIS came to my town twice in a week's time first on April 25 and May 3rd in Saginaw mi I was a 13 year old kid and the ladies wouldn't give me a chance to reach the stage but my dad knew ELVIS was staying at the Hilton in Troy Michigan so we drove down to see if we get a close look at ELVIS and sure enough about a half hour passed and he comes the car's and it's ELVIS only he's surrounded by his men so this was cool with me only as ELVIS goes by slows down comes to the fans shakes my hand and asked me How ya doing??? Man to have ELVIS stop take time to meet you is a feeling you never forget oh so Thanks ladies for keeping me away from the stage cuz thanks to you I met ELVIS face to face. Peace and God Bless from Saginaw mi.
Thankgoodness to all those fans and security that let them get the camera's in to take this footage. Such a shame that Elvis never recorded all his concerts to sell later on they would have sold like hot cakes.
Those fans snuck those cameras into the building. I know for a face that Dave hebler would take film out if cameras at concerts if he found you filming.. it is sad that colonel didn’t realize the potential of filming all shows for them to have for the future. Imagine if he thought about what money they could have Made, it would have happened.
@@GlobetrottingWithTrey Thankyou for the reply :) keep up the good work :) I realise that they would have been mainly snuck in but i wouldn't be surprised that on an odd occasion some security were paid off in some way to enable it at times.

i have never seen a artist to have kids on stage this is truly fantastic elvis heart was bigger than any artist today
Elvis with little kids always gets me 😭😭😍🥹. The little girl that hugged his leg was adorable. I’ve never seen this footage before!
The World needed Elvis for at least 25 years after his passing.

It's amazing how much time and love he dedicated to his fans!!! Name another artist to do so. NO ONE, Ever...
You need to find the little girl that hugged his leg, lol. She got closer than most have.
Wouldn't that be amazing if that lucky little girl came forward. Wonder how much she remembered. 😂
