- Ronnie's latest recorded webinars with notes included: www.harmonica123.com/product-... You can download any of my recently taught webinars via the link above. Thanks for your support! BTW, the ending has the key of song and harmonica info. backwards. The rumba is in F played on a Bb harmonica. Sorry about that.
mistake..at the end of the video that should say "rumba de la casa roja" key of song is F on a Bb harmonica not the other way around. grrr
notice my modern way of saying tongue block at the intro of this video-"tongue blox". hee hee. also, during the free play time what I meant to say is that as long as you only use tongue blocking you can play whatever you'd like..just try to only tongue block.
I've been working on tongue blocking more and more, the acoustic avenues available while tongue blocking are addictive. I do pucker some on the lower end. But the more I tb the better I get. I used to think it was like magic lol. Practice will get you there.
Cool video 😎😎 Thanks Ronnie
Thanks Ronnie
That was fun. Let’s do another.
Your octave run-up in there was a tongue blox thing of beauty. Best tone in the biz, Mr. Shellist. Much Respect. Thank you.

haha..ya my brain did the old switcharoo
Ronnie. I love your tone. Quick question. What is the sounded at the end of the one chord. Is it a tongue slap? It’s after the 2 draw and the 3 draw is in brackets.
i believe you are referring the 123 draw chord that I play quickly. I did not tab that out.
@@Harmonica123 yes it makes a quick quack sound! Thank you!
This exercise reminds me of Big Walter’s Need My Baby
Getting pretty fancy with the graphics...
messin around with imovie
How will be single hole sound and tongue blocking sound different?
How is tongue blocking sound? I don't know how to play tongue blocking sound
I don't know single hole sound and tongue blocking sound clearly. Show with video.
I’d have had the writing at the end in yellow. And beginning with ‘In a galaxy far, far away’....... I dare you 😀
Great vid as always. Cheers
So where are you actually placing your tongue when doing the blocking Ronnie, I find the whole concept very confusing? Thanks!
the top of my tongue covers the holes I want to block (to the left) and I play the note out of the right side of my mouth.
@@Harmonica123 Hey Ronnie, thanks so much for the explanation. I had imagined something similar but wasn't sure which side to put the tongue when trying this technique, so you keep it on the left at all times, and is it being used throughout the whole piece or just at some selected parts where you feel the tongue block technique is warrented. I can kinda replicate some of your playing without using the tongue blocking so not sure where to add it? Thanks again!
I can not play like You do, even befor drinking! By the way, what about Ginger?
you mean from Gilligan's Island? she was a keeper for sure.
@@Harmonica123 White bodyguard?
@@Harmonica123 I'm so sorry. I was sure that Your dog's name is Ginger (Rogers) but Your dog is Ava (Gardner). I just checked it. Do not be mad at me.
