LYRICS:
Beefsteak charlie says to porky the pig
"I can see the party lights
Someone's throwin' a bash and it sure looks big
Down at the slaughterhouse tonight."
Say, let's get together and hit the buffet
You might as well stuff yourself
They'll only throw it away
Old colonel sanders says to elsie the cow
"golly, baby you're the one
Two all beef patties, special sauce, lettuce
Pickle, cheese, onions on a sesame seed bun."
Say, we just got time for a roll in the hay
Might as well stuff yourself
They've come to take you away
I know where you're going, I can tell
Don't go looking for me down in hamburger hell
Don't misunderstand me, I wish you well
Don't go looking for me down in hamburger hell
One of the most serious guitar solos played here. Opened my ears year 1977 and still does, definitely 🤘🤘
Killer guitar throughout the song, has a very Hendrix feel to it
Great Album. One side of covers and one of originals. Todd's awesome!
This whole album is sadly under-appreciated.
Todds studio guitar solos get me every time. CRANK UP THE VOLUME !!!👍👍👍🇺🇸💎💎💎💎💎
2 all beef patties special sauce lettuce pickles cheese onion on a sesame seed bun. If you watched TV in the 70s you remember the commercials.
Indeed. The only slight problem is that Colonel Sanders was KFC...but I guess a bit of leeway for poetic license.
Todd said pickles cheese and the commercials said cheese pickles. He may have switched them around so he wouldn't get sued...maybe.
Just the fact that he used that jingle in a hard rock song earns my respect
The guitar solo is great, it's up there with the one from "Hurting For You"
one of todd's songs that i didn't realize how great it was until recently.
It took how long ? Piss Aaron is a good song too.
Todd is number one. . . . . .
How cool is a song where the backing vocals surround Todd with: (Bun) On a sesame seed / (Bun) On a sesame seed? A send-up, obviously, yet it rocks harder & better than all the crap heavy metal that came after it.
for the most part. however Maynard sings cookies and cream in the song 7empest
Still love taking bites out of this Burger tune - great arrangement and solo
Dig John Siegler's bass line. Awesome.
he went to BOOGIES in Calgary?
Thanks again TR
Side of COVID-19 with your hell?
Is that KRSNA ?
Gotta be nice to ALL animals, even if Todd is God. 🐦🐔🦆🐣🐄🦦🐳
