    Fascinating to watch how you add basic shading and then break it into contour line work and details, even adjusting as you go. Very cool.

    wow, I love linocut designs but I draw in Adobe Illustrator. Your will videos will be a big help for me to understand how to use lines for shadow and highlights. You must have practiced a lot to achieve this result, especially with the cutter. It's not easy work.

      @@ElRonan Thanks. Your demonstration shows, very clear, how to manage the gouge and the artist response to the process making decisions to ensure the best results in terms of tones.

      @@nildarivera9465 Thanks so much! I hope it's helpful for your class. Responsiveness and decision making during the carving process were topics we talked a lot about when I was in school, and I'm glad hear I absorbed at least some of it!

    Hi! I’m trying to do linocut myself as an art project for my university. Can you tell me what kind of paint are you using? Is it expensive? If so, is there any cheaper alternative? I hope you gonna reply😊🙏

    • @ElRonan
      @ElRonan  3 роки тому

      The ink I use is listed in the video description, along with a link on where I purchase it. If you're wanting something cheaper, take a look through the other inks on that site.
