Fascinating to watch how you add basic shading and then break it into contour line work and details, even adjusting as you go. Very cool.

Hey, my friend introduced me to the idea of linocuts recently. I really liked this video and your process, I hope you keep making more
Hey, so glad you're starting out! Best of luck!
You should definitely make more of these, and develop this channel. Just keep working hard and it will all fall into place.
I know this response is delayed, but thanks so much for the encouragement. It really means a lot to me.
absolutely stunning!!!! hat kind of paper is that?

what card do you use and where do you buy it?
wow, I love linocut designs but I draw in Adobe Illustrator. Your will videos will be a big help for me to understand how to use lines for shadow and highlights. You must have practiced a lot to achieve this result, especially with the cutter. It's not easy work.
I'm happy to hear that! It's definitely a process to learn, but you'll get it quicker than you think :)
Extraordinary !! May I use your video on classroom to show the process?
Of course! Thanks so much!
@@ElRonan Thanks. Your demonstration shows, very clear, how to manage the gouge and the artist response to the process making decisions to ensure the best results in terms of tones.
@@nildarivera9465 Thanks so much! I hope it's helpful for your class. Responsiveness and decision making during the carving process were topics we talked a lot about when I was in school, and I'm glad hear I absorbed at least some of it!
What size tool did you use for the small details :)
Where did you get that large you gouge and what name is it or brand is it
very nice! I have the problem that I never know where to put the shadows. Can anyone help me? Any tutorials? Thanks
Hallo! Do you wait linoleum before, why is it do dark?? what kind of color you you use? Best!

Hi! I’m trying to do linocut myself as an art project for my university. Can you tell me what kind of paint are you using? Is it expensive? If so, is there any cheaper alternative? I hope you gonna reply😊🙏
The ink I use is listed in the video description, along with a link on where I purchase it. If you're wanting something cheaper, take a look through the other inks on that site.
But how did you get the original image on the panel? 🤔
I drew it.
:)
... ohh...! So you cut the GREY out...!!! ooookaaaay...!
You Instagram si verte good
Hello mam
Love the work, but that shadow on the upper lip looks like a moustache and bugs the hell out of me.
What an incredible work.
