@@vitaliylomanoff1759 italian too :( i can t support bruh
I just finished mine today. But my head is wiggling and loss and not as tide on the body like your. And I followed the instructions well. Do you have some tips that I can do?
I modeled a minifigure in my highschool 3D modeling class for my final project. I can confirm that getting the shape of the arms right is one of the most difficult things. Took me 3 days to get the arms right and I got everything else done in 2 days. The fact the arms of these look as good as they do with the current part catalog is impressive to me.
Classic project timing 85% goes smoothen the last 15% is difficult
@@GreenAppelPie 😂 yep
well, if a kid can do it in 3 days, i not call it hard.
@@kobeworld kids can go to war, I’d say just cause kids can do it, doesn’t mean anything
Yes! I did that too and the arms were a nightmare😂
What a neat set, the inclusion of the minifig pilot is what made this a must buy for me though!
Love it, except from the hat.
Same, I think the look of the hat kinda ruins in.
It really doesn’t need it buuut I like the cool control thing
Thank you!! The hat has bothered me since this set was revealed and I'm amazed Tiago and other reviewers don't object to it more.
What’s wrong with the hat?
@@GreenAppelPie For me the biggest issue is the edge sticking out on the back. That it's flat doesn't bother me, but how it stick out in the back and on the sides looks awful to me.
I would love a classic space version of this with the old school spaceman
Tiago by far has the best review style in all LEGO UA-camrs. Keep it up!
I like that he's calm, collected and doesn't whine.
I do wish they had gotten the curves a bit smoother all over, but the hidden minifigure piloting it like a giant robot anime is delightful, and sort of justifies the chunkiness. Almost makes me want to make a modified one with some extra greebling to lean into the robot look.
The upscale figures have definitely come a long way since that giant ant man from the civil war set. I could definitely see them making upscale figures for other classic/popular themes, like Ninjago and superheroes. I especially love the little detail in the hat. I hope future upscales keep the idea to have cute hiding places for the normal sized figure.
It's really a shame that they couldn't get the curve of the brim in the cap. It's a very subtle thing, but really would've elevated the entire build!
Keep up the great work with these terrific videos!
Yea, kinda wish the old flat one (Part 4485) was still in production for it, would have helped
it looks like a construction helmet tbh xddd
@@kortanon_5515 I had the same exact thought!
I actually like the flat cap, since it’s like the old Lego hat piece. (I actually didn’t know they made a new hat mold before buying this set, lol)
Just that bit sticking out in the back could be shorter. Otherwise love the set
Interesting note: After buying the set, they actually changed the inside of the box to be grey instead of black!
I always love these Lego set reviews. In fact, your view in the haunted house is the reason I got it amazing set and it’s super fun knowing what the initials on the gravestone mean😂
I really really want a classic spaceman in this format.
Bruh that ain’t no mini future, that’s a Giga Figure!
This will likely be the set that gets me back into Lego! I bought the Bionicle GWP second-hand after getting out of my "Dark Ages", but the affordable price and appealing concept of this set make it hard to resist.
so now lego MUST make spaceman figure!
It's a matter of time!
With a build variant option for making a broken chin strap on its helmet
YES! I’d like a Red, White, Yellow, Blue and Black Classic Space version. I’d buy every one! 🙂 And you are TOTALLY RIGHT, LEGO could make a theme from this!
The box I got in USA does not have the black color inside, it is just a plain brown cardboard surface inside
I hope they make a classic spaceman in this style, and they could easily print the logo on the big panel piece on the torso.
The perfect set to place on my Office's Desk !
I kinda wish they used the old cap design for the small minifigure but I think it's a retired part so I guess they didn't want to bring it out of retirement for one set, though I probably have one lying around in a minifig bin and they're quite cheap on Bricklink
I was thinking the same. The new one just looks a bit too modern and doesn't match the one on the big figure
Ordered one for myself and one as a birthday gift for a friend who’s equally nuts about Lego as I am. Can’t wait to build this😊
Only issue is the hat for two reasons:
1. The back of the hat sticks out way too much and it almost looks like a fireman’s hat.
2. The hat is of the classic style (which I prefer) but the minifigure has the newer style
I wish it was just a stud on top instead of the hat
They better make a classic spaceman. I would be all in if they made that.
Thanks for the review, Tiago. It's a long-shot, but I'm hoping that we eventually get a Galactus fig at this scale. A classic space man would be dope too.
man, that is so simple and so good! Awesome!
Less is more! My favourite quote of all time
FINALLY!! I HAVE BE WAITING FOR A LONG TIME FOR THIS 😊
The shape of the hat looks weird. It doesn't look like the baseball cap that the minifigure is wearing. It almost looks like a construction helmet.
Wish they used the classic cap piece
Talk to your old LEGO buddies and get them to keep making upscaled figures like this. I would imagine upscaling old castle/space figures would do quite well for them, or just any old city figs. I've built one of these already, from my initial purchase of two, and I just ordered two more, these are so amazing.
Thanks Tiago. Great review... and I totally agree. If lego started producing popular characters in this Up-Scaled Minifigure format, people would go nuts for them. Personally I would love to see Benny, Emmett, Wyldstyle or any of the Ninjago characters up-scaled. Star Wars or Marvel characters would certainly fly off the shelves.
I was like "This is cool." Then I saw the minifigure in the hat and now i'm like "I wanna buy this"
Love it! Will own it soooooooon!
Slider shots...pull focus...solid content. Other than Star Wars sets, you manage to flip my initial opinions of sets quite often. I might have to get this one after all. Keep up the great work! Oh, I also hope you get a set soon that allows you to bring back the probe lens!
I just purchased it. I'm in love with it! 🤩
I am looking forward to building this one.
There is a lot they can do with Up-Scaled Minifigs and if they avoid the lincesend stuff they can keep the price down.
I love this set so much! ❤😊❤ I hope to get this for my YT channel!
😮😮😮 que set más bonito
I don’t think making them a collectible series would quite work out.
1. They are a pretty big and would need a lot of space so it would be hard to keep a lot.
2. Although $50 isn’t a lot for a Lego set it starts to stack up if you want a proper collection.
3. People will want to have their favourite characters and because of the licensing they will cost more so the cheap aspect won’t factor.
4. They are all basically the same building experience so it would stop being fun after a couple sets.
5. Having the minifigure in the head is pretty neat, but the minifigure itself will always be cheaper than buying the whole set.
6. A lot of minifigures have details that will be hard to recreate with bricks so the end product won’t be as good.
7. Having a lot lined up imo would look a bit weird.
8. A lot of minifigures have distinctive accessories which wouldn’t look so good brick-built and would also up the price.
9. Most minifigures don’t wear hats so it would be hard to pull off the compartment and make look good.
10. Brickheads didn’t do so well themselves, so I’d say that most LEGO fans would rather spend their money on a normal set rather than a gigafigure collection.
I still think that they are pretty cool and having one or two might make a nice addition to a display but I fell like most LEGO fans wouldn’t be interested in collecting all the gigafigures.
Would highly recommend checking out the LEGO starwars helmets that Lego has been doing lately. The internals of every helmet are, though similar at first glance, entirely different to each other and all-in-all is like a hidden masterclass for Lego designers.
03:24 I agree. Upscaled Minifigures would be an awesome theme! I didn’t know this set existed till I stumbled across a MOC design on rebrickable that use this set and the Venomised Groot set to create a minifigure that has a venom symbiote coming out of it. With the Spider-Man mask set coming out next year, you could possibly use all three sets (plus some extra pieces) to create an upscaled minifigure version of Ben Reilly’s Spider-Man w/venom symbiote (Reilly’s spider man costume and mask is much simpler, no web patterns. Plus it’s has red arms/legs and a blue torso perfectly suited to be adapted from the upscaled figure set. Only thing that would need changing is the hands to red but that’s easy to do…
This mega-figure could represent a kaiju monster for one's Lego city. 😀 😀
For the bottom of the head, I feel like you could replace the cheese slopes with those yellow pac man pieces, making the curve flow better!
Love this set. And I’m gonna use it to make a Lego version of AOT. Like a multicolour wall with this scaled up fig peeking over it like the colossal titan.
I need this 😍😍😍 how cool is the hat hidden feature.
Isn’t there also a giant ant man figure. Not sure just thought I remembered it.
I wonder if it will be difficult to build it without the hat
I put this together today. It looks cool, a great way to spend a weekend afternoon.👍
It was a fun set already but the little dude controlling the head is really cute lmao
I was a big fan of lego growing up, I still am but I don't collect any of the sets, I got given small random ones as gifts over the years though. I saw this thumbnail and I thought that would be a good display piece for the franchise as a whole and for my nostalgia so I bought it using the link in your description! I'm not even subscribed (yet) hope it helped though, thanks for the heads up! :)
I predict that this will sell better than anyone could possibly expect. This set has universal appeal to the Lego fan of any age, and any skill level. Sure, the hat looks a bit funky, but this is what people expect of Lego.
The one thing may be the display presentation. From what I've seen, the adult targeted sets look different, and are displayed in a separate area than the City and Friends sets. By how this looks, this will likely be shelved in the kid isle, where adults may miss it entirely. On that same point, I'm not sure if kids will be drawn to this particular set over the City and Ninjago sets.
This is pretty cool. Love the driver :)
I'm glad this seems to be following a standard. I agree, this would be a good thing to move forward with like the Brick Heads. I'm on the fence with Brick Heads, but this would be cool to customize.
Great minifigure, would’ve loved a better hat but I’m sure that that was the best way to portray it
Fairly cool...but i after seeing it here, i now need that pirate figure. 😍
I really love this one. It's a great baseline for your own moc. I will go to LEGO House next month to pick up the pirate!
A stay puft marshmallow man in this size would be perfect to go with the Ghostbusters fire house!
I love this one. I ordered it minutes after it went on sale at Lego shop. They could definitely make this a regular theme, maybe 1 or 2 a year just to keep them from being over produced.
*The "hat" looks more like a hard hat, or helmet. Nothing like the actual minifig hat.*
*And why leave the studs showings on top of the feet? Really strange when you can easily cover that with tiles.*
The little guy should have the matching old school flat cap of its larger self. And surprised there is no 90 degrees inverted slope brick to fill up the 4 corners below the head.
Great review as usual, and love the constant uploads! On your way to 1 mil for sure Tiago.
I think putting a set into box for display is a good idea, they can just probably change the background inside the box
The inside of the hat is the best part
Looks amazing love the minfiger in hat great review
If they do a Classic Space Astronaut I'll give Lego so much money! Just use this set, turn the shirt blue, and add air tanks.
Ah, the maxifig. One of our club members built a Nexo Knights Clay once. Fun stuff.
$50?!? I was expecting it to be around $99, wow I hope I can find one
I made something very similar using the instructions from the hp ones, my own pieces and a bunch of creativity, 2 years ago. It turned out surprisingly good, even though I was missing some very important bricks.
If Lego releases a Classic Spaceman in this scale, I will be all over it
Hard to LOVE this set when I know the pirate one exists. Darn it, Lego!
2:10 Massive "Meet Dave" vibes there
i bought this set this morning. haven't bought new legos in a while, im excited to build this! also bought the lego white house set :D
All I can say if lego does a Lego classic spaceman as one of these Buildable figures i will definitely buy it
I believe Lego has a winner here.
I wish they would use this style of box more often. Way better than the standard cardboards that are just there to keep the pieces together until you use them. The Porsche with a box like this, and probably another colour less prone to yellowing, would've been perfect.
My thoughts while I was watching went about like, "Huh, never seen this before. It's cool, but I don't think I really nee-IT'S A MECH?!" Yeeeaaah, I'm buying it.
Bought this set today and the inside of the box was completely white, no black panels. Maybe something they already fixed?
I got it today. I like the giant fig design so much. I hope they do a Galactus at some point.
That’s begging for a Hachiroku tutorial video…
It seems to be launched / inspired of the big minifigure in Billund outside the lego campus 😮
Great set, and I think you're on to something, they should make it a series! And while they're at it release the Pirate to the mainstream audience please! Lego needs to design an upside-down corner piece to fix the bottom of the head, but other than that love this set, already bought! Thanks for the review.
This is a really cool set.
If they do a Spongebob one with Plankton in his head I'd buy it
There is a great moc on Rebrickable by FytronBob with a bald top of the minifig. Only about 20 pieces costs about $5 for all the pieces. definitely better than the hat on the original.
How could you forget to mention! The figure represents the figure at Lego Campus in billund!
if they did the series, they could run through Harry Potter, Star Wars, and even do the timeline of minifigs from the first to the latest, giving us the old school astronauts, racer car drivers, police, etc; would be fun imo
I can see them doing memorable minifigs from Town, Space, Castle, Pirates and then if they're popular the price will double... fast
The hat looks good on one angle.
Not much appealing for me in terms of displaying it since the classic lego city dynamo flashlight already does the mega minifig role in my living room next to some other sets. Tiago, will you be reviewing the Lego City Downtown set? I'm looking forward to hear your thoughts over the particular "modular" format that Lego could use for some of their sets, also I love the whole thing assembled. Great work, love your content
They need to sell Legs, Torso, Head and Hats separately so you can create your own mech-mini figure. Defiantly want this set.
We need an upscaled Stormtrooper now, or a B1 Battle Droid...
(imagine army-building with those...)
This is much more appealing to me than brickheads, a spaceman version would be cool.
I have order some. I love this set and would love Star Wars or marvel or dc ones . How cool would that be . Bring it on . Even though the builds are similar so are brick heads really . Want more of these . ❤
Great review thanks a lot. I really like this set
I picked up yesterday and there's no dark side of the box, its just white
Had to buy it, more than happy to your site
I was building the titanic and on bag 38(I don’t exactly remember) I saw the tc gravestone and it reminded me of your videos 😂😂
I’m waiting for the Star Wars ones they make, they’ll be a fine addition to my collection
Love the Biggie-Figure
I LOVE THIS
Buying 2 today 🔥
