I like the design this year. Reminds me of the 2003 design. Ever since getting back into the hobby in 2007 I’ve always liked Prestige. Always wanted to build a set with the SPs. And was able to do that in 2020. And again in 2022. So I’m probably gonna go on and build the 2024 master set (SP and insert sets). With the current market I pick one set to build. And the Donruss factory set. And the rookies in college gear doesn’t bother me at all. As a 90s collector it was pretty common. And I’d argue looked better with the NCAA gear. Example, 1995 Skybox Impact.
Did they do anything like this last year? SSP rookie in pro uniform? If you look at check list, he’s 401 out of 400. I assumed it was because he signed his players deal late and prestige added his card last second and were able to get a pic of him already in his pro uniform. As opposed to the other panini releases where he wasn’t even in them.
Watching this a month or so after the fact…the 401 Caleb Williams RC SP is about $10-15 now. It’s still a cool Rookie to have given it was Panini finally getting him in a 2024 Product.
