Come dice la mia insegnante molti soprano drammatici optano per la " comoda " corda di mezzosoprano perché il repertorio del soprano drammatici è molto pesante. Sarà vero?

@KirstyGriffiths It is not unusual for performers to use scores during the performance of an oratorio work. In fact, it is common. She may not even be looking at the musical notation or libretto themselves but instead, final edits from a last minute rehearsal, direction for the music, notes to pay attention to the conductor at specific moments, etc. I agree that a little more eye contact would have made the interpretation a bit more powerful, but it is fantastic as it already stands.

Sorry, that's nonsense. Her low chest voice is richer, deeper and more powerful than the chest voice of any other current mezzo (maybe with the exception of Blythe), not to mention sopranos.
But I agree that she looks at the score WAY too much!
I loved listening to this but ... hated watching it .... you know the score ... why do you keep looking at it and breaking eye contact with the audience .... with such a magnificent voice and musicality I love listening to this but will only watch it again if someone takes that score out of your hands so that we, the audience, have your full attention!!!
