not bad at all ! the melody line feels a bit too monotonous for a cross track (would have expected more chops or side-elements to compensate) but other than that you did a really good job with the drums and the part starting at 2:40

I would definitely not say this is a cross era mix down, more so just a nice cover. It’s kinda too clean. I get what you were going for - I’d say don’t forget the excessive compression, that lead synth in particular I find rather too clean and off putting. Towards the end you get the energy I think you’re looking for - I’d say a few more hours in the box might have done this good, but overall I’d say it’s well done. 👍
