Oklahoma was recently ranked as the number 1 college football program of all time. They're a blue blood program. They've been a historically dominant and consistent program since like WW2.
21:45 He said they're the only team to win every major bowl game and the national championship. It was filmed at the earliest in 2016 because he mentioned the Lego helmet being given to them for the 2015 playoffs.
I lived in Norman until I was 18 . OU football coaches are treated like goddamn kings. Bob Stoops built a house about five minutes from my childhood home, and the thing had a literal moat and drawbridge. Absolutely crazy.
This visit by Royal was meant to focus on the managers, and so that's why you saw so much of that. The facilities are attached to the stadium and is on-campus just off the center point. Out back are the practice fields, and an indoor practice facility across the street. A video more aimed at the facilities overall, including the massive Head Coach office, was done by ESPN IN 2018 (some additions have been made since then though): ua-cam.com/video/6v2w-pLKIMc/v-deo.html
OU has won more Big XII Championships than all of the rest of the Big XII schools combined. The bit about them winning every trophy, they're the only team that managed to win all 4 of the BCS Bowl games plus a National Championship during the BCS era. So, Sugar Bowl, Orange Bowl, Rose Bowl, Fiesta Bowl, and National Championship.
there's also a hot tub about the size of a backyard swimming pool in there. its an amazing facility. i live about 10 minutes north of campus in Moore, OK. BOOMER!

They built a $227 million basketball, $270 million track and field facility that is insane. So you can imagine what the football facility must look like? They are constantly making upgrades. Go Ducks!!!

Most recruits say Alabama or Oregon have the best player facilities. There are plenty of large schools with functional and ok facilities, but its obvious when a school actually hires a real design firm to make something look good instead of just boringly useful.
Good stuff guys I live here in Oklahoma. They’ve made even more upgrades and improvements To the Stadium since this video came out.. Check out the stadiums in the SEC those are in a league of their own

Alabama's Nick Saban makes over $9 M per year because, simply put, he is the most successful coach in major college football history. He, alone, has won more major college football National Championships than 113 of the 131 (86%) current FBS/Division 1 college football teams in their entire history. He has several NCAA records for his accomplishments, which are too numerous to enumerate. He has the most wins against AP #1, Top 5, Top 25, and the most consecutive wins against unranked teams in major college football history. For the past 14 consecutive seasons since 2008 he's averaging 12.5 wins per season and there are only 12 regular season games. He has more national championships (6) than home losses (5) during that same stretch. There are 6 current college football head coaches from his 2015 coaching staff alone. 4 of those participated in New Year's 6/playoff games last year. 2 were on the team that won the championship. Too many accolades to continue. But he's the G.O.A.T.
Oklahoma doesn't claim unearned ones though, as a Texas fan I still have some love for OU but Bama has more like 12-14 and OU if they wanted to claim would have a few more
Texas and Oklahoma need to stay in the Big 12 if they ever want to compete for another conferece title or national championship. Whichever one goes to the SEC East might fair okay but the West is a gauntlet. They may be able to beat an Arkansas or Mississippi state but Alabama/LSU/A&M and Ole Miss are another story. Even Alabama has a tough time going undefeated in the west.

Ironically, it's largely believed that the Sooners and Longhorns will struggle against their new conference rivals since the level of competition against the likes of Alabama just went up at least fivefold.

Understanding his brag about winning “every championship” is actually extremely complicated and requires understanding a lot of history. The simplest way to explain it is that there is a national championship, and beneath that are “major bowls” that act as a pseudo championship between conferences. You’ve probably heard a few of them dropped in other videos: Rose Bowl, Orange Bowl, etc. There are other tiers of bowls, but the national championship and the major bowls are the trophies people display. He was bragging that OU has won a championship and all of the major bowls. Come to think of it, you might actually an in-depth explanation of the bowl system and how’s it’s evolved over the years. That would be a great reaction video.

I would love to see you guys react to the michigan and michigan state football facility videos by this UA-cam channel. Michigan state is not the biggest college football team but I love their heart ever year
I'm an American and to tell the truth I could Rant about what's wrong with college sports in America all day long but I'll just say, not everyone in America is cool with this, Millions of dollars going to these people to play a sport that doesn't really achieve anything meanwhile people trying to become nurses and doctors are going into debt with the same colleges, its pathetic.
The Alabama football team doesn't use one dime of the University's money on any of their facilities. They are entirely self sufficient and generate every dollar they spend. Alabama athletics operates on a $100+ M budget. The University itself has an annual budget that is closer to $1 BILLION. With a B. They don't need athletics money to operate.
@@tepatrilee3009 colleges still bring in money from elsewhere, don't get it wrong. It's one of the biggest for-profit brainwashing institutions in the world.
Keep in mind you're also comparing Alabama's practice lockers to Oklahoma's gameday best/attached to the stadium lockers. Alabama also have separate gameday lockers that are at their stadium which are much nicer and have been updated very recently. Even so, Alabama's practice locker room, with real wood and deep rich colors, looks like old money. Oklahoma's lockers, with plastic lit panels above them and an overall bland grey look throughout, look like a convenience store with cheap plastic seats from a diner.
Historically, Michigan can be considered the most "successful" college program as it does have the most wins of all time, the most conference championships of all time, 11 national titles and and always right up there if not first place in the best all-time winning percentage. In "modern" history, say since the 70's Alabama is probably the most successful team. But the absolute top of the line programs historically are Michigan, Ohio State, Alabama, Oklahoma, Notre Dame and Texas. These are the only teams that have won at least 70% of their games. The next tier includes Penn State, Nebraska, USC who have won at least 68% of their games but it's quite fluid as some of the better teams of the last decade (Georgia and Clemson) aren't among these teams though they aren't far behind and a few of these teams have had some pretty rough years in recent history and may not be among these schools in a few years if they keep it up but when you look back on the entire history of the game, this is a good list of the top programs. This series is a bit clickbaity just so you know. A lot of these "facility" tours seem to be very heavy into footwear rather than the facility.
Michigan is not the most successful college program. Most of their success and power happened before World War 2. SInce 1949, Michigan has only won 1 national championship. That's 1 national championship in 72 seasons. Sure, they win a lot of conference titles. But that just means they play in a weak conference. And they don't have the most conference championships of anyone. Oklahoma (50) has 7 more conference championships than Michigan (43). And Michigan only has 1 conference championship in the last 17 seasons. Michigan is a blue blood, no doubt. But not best ever by any means.
@@tepatrilee3009 Did you just read the first sentence of my post before replying? Also let's not talk weak conferences when Oklahoma played in the Big 6, Big 8 and Big 12. Outside of Oklahoma, the Big 6/8 members have a combined 7 national titles, 5 of those just being from Nebraska. When you throw in the Big 12 it doesn't get much better outside of Texas. The Big Ten (Not counting Nebraska, Maryland and Rutgers who didn't join til after 2010) have 29 not counting Michigan, 27 if you exclude Penn State who joined in 1993 and even 19 if you get rid of Ohio State, so no it's not a weak conference that Michigan was racking up conference titles in. The Big Ten has 10 of their 14 teams with a national title in their history (excluding Rutger's who has 1 from the first season where literally just them and Princeton played eachother and went 1-1). The Big 6/8 and Big 12 through all of their former members have 6/13 schools with a claimed natty. Michigan didn't even play in the Big Ten for over a decade after leaving the conference and going independent due to a falling out and still won 43 titles. I never specifically said they ARE the most successful, just gave reasons they could be considered it HISTORICALLY along with the most successful team in the modern era being Alabama. You can't disregard the entire history of the game when you're talking about success. Otherwise everything you care about right now doesn't mean anything at a certain point? Then what is the point of any of this? College football is over 200 years old. The history of the game and it's most successful programs aren't restricted to the last 17 years or any other 17 year stretch. That's ridiculous. All of the teams I listed have had pretty subpar stretches in their history. Even Oklahoma went 14 years without a conference championship from 1988-1999 and they went 17 years without one from 1921-1937. People also tend to forget the fact that Alabama had 1 SEC title sandwiched in between 16 seasons of crap from 1993-2008. The beginning of your fandom is not the beginning of college football history.
@@jayjayjames2332 #1. I've always liked Michigan. They're definitely a blue blood of the sport and in the top percentile of all teams. I just think their lack of success related to national championships since forever, which is the top tier achievement in the sport, is an Achilles heel to their claim to most successful. Minnesota, Pittsburgh, BYU, Colorado, Maryland, and Syracuse have the same number of national championships as Michigan since 1948. There are about 15 other schools above Michigan in that time frame as well. #2. Michigan's conference championship count is grossly over inflated. That's because up until the Big Ten Championship game was instituted just 10 years ago, the Big Ten handed out conference championships like they were participation trophies. The Big Ten has been around for 126 years and handed out 178 conference champions (52 extra championships). As a comparison, the SEC has been around 86 years and only handed out 90 conference championships. It is significantly harder to be a SEC champion than a Big Ten champion. #3. In 1901, Michigan went 4-0 in the conference and was awarded a championship. They played 11 games that year and only 4 conference games. They also didn't play Wisconsin, who went 2-0, and also got a conference championship that year. Michigan was given conference championships in 1904, 1906, 1918, 1922, 1923, 1926, 1930, 1931, 1932, 1933, 1943, 1969, 1972, 1973, 1974, 1976, 1977, 1978, 1986, 1990, 1998, 2000, and 2004 despite other conference teams having identical records and also claiming conference championships for the same years. Michigan claims a conference championship from 1972 along with Ohio State despite the fact that Ohio State beat them head to head that year, just because they finished with the same conference record. Same thing happened in 74 and 78. In 1990, four teams were the Big Ten champions with a 6-2 conference record. In 2000 there were three Big Ten champions with 6-2 conference records each. #4. Michigan only has 17 outright conference championships. That's second to Ohio State's 24. #5. I'm an Alabama fan. :) I just like and respect both Oklahoma and Michigan. Great teams. Great programs. Great fans. I'm not pointing out these stats to dog Michigan, just to bring a little context to the conversation.
Hip hop artist Master P`s son signed a $2 million-dollar endorsement deal before playing a single game of basketball. He is an incoming freshman at Tennessee State College. Thousands of athletes can become millionaires out of high school.
Do University of Oregon if you want to be impressed. But maybe find a different production, this one just seems like it focuses more on equipment than the entire grandeur of the facilities.
Oregon, LSU, Florida, and Texas A&M all have facilities as good or better than Alabama’s. They just don’t have Nick Saban, who’s the greatest coach maybe of any sport ever.
370 million dollars doesn't sound realistic since you described Oregon's facilities as worth $68 million. Oregon is the birthplace of Nike, and the founder of Nike is a major contributor to the program. No way are Oklahoma's facilities worth 5 times as much as Oregon's.
This is what happens when you let the equipment manager give a tour. Oklahoma has notoriously boring looking jerseys and he's just going on and on about the jerseys and helmets that all look basically the same.
Texas and Oklahoma will join the SEC in 2025. Oklahoma is among the most successful programs historically with Alabama, Ohio State, Michigan, Notre Dame, Southern California (USC), etc. Bama, Oklahoma, and Arkansas have very similar uniforms.
Alabama is the greatest college football program in history. Oklahoma isn’t even close. They aren’t even in the SEC(best conference in college football). Most of Alabama’s conference opponents(Georgia, Auburn, LSU, Florida) are superior to Oklahoma. No comparison.
Oklahoma is a huge program but this doesn't hold a candle to Alabama. Bama's facilities look absolute state of the art and with levels of imagination you could hardly fathom, while Oklahoma's just looks very predictable and basic by comparison.
I wanted to comment that they are SPONSORED by Jordan brand. Meaning they get this stuff for free. They didn’t have to “spend a bunch of money on cleats”. There are only 4 universities sporting Jordan brand gear and that’s why it is special my friends. Lol.
As an OU Sooner fan, I wonder how accurate these numbers are. Because it's difficult for me to believe we have a facility worth $82 million more than Alabama, considering their recent dominance this past decade or so. We also hired a guy this offseason, named Thad Turnipseed, that did massive upgrades to Alabama's facilities, with the intention to do massive upgrades to our own facilities. That way we can potentially put out an elite National Championship caliber product on the field, like Alabama does.
These are top tier college programs steeped in winning traditions, Lots of college programs around the country, don't have no where near what you are seeing in these videos. Alabama is Alabama, and it's probably not fair to judge everything to what you saw in their video, some will come close but Alabama sets the standard. Love you guys reaction, keep up the good work.

@@tepatrilee3009 colleges still bring in money from elsewhere, don't get it wrong. It's one of the biggest for-profit brainwashing institutions in the world.
"I wonder when this was filmed"
Lol you could always exit out & look at the date
Oregon has a great facility
Boomer Sooner! I forgive you. I always say I want “sooner dead” on my tombstone
@@jayjayjames2332 michigan shouldnt even be mentioned. Their wins came when their rivals were using highschoolers
Why is Michael Jordan on a football jersey?

@@brettpenning I know, seems weird since it's not football.
@@betsyduane3461 True, as long as he makes money I think he will put that logo on anything lol
Oregon Ducks!
One word..BOOMER!!
Do Oregon Ducks football Next
Wait until y’all see Oregon’s facility
Do a twitch commentary on an NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs game, they start in May
Texas and Oklahoma will join the SEC in 2025.
Oregon has the best facilities their video is best
Y’all gotta do oregons facility now they’ve got the best facility
The University of Central Florida (UCF) Knights are the next great thing! Great football and other sports, and great campus and facilities.
do Oregon & texas high schools
Won every bowl game and national championship. Only team to do so
Check out Oregon one
BOOMER SOONER!!!
Check out the Oregon facility, it’s even better than Alabamas
Oklahoma is a huge program but this doesn't hold a candle to Alabama. Bama's facilities look absolute state of the art and with levels of imagination you could hardly fathom, while Oklahoma's just looks very predictable and basic by comparison.
This is also from 6 years ago and I’m pretty sure they just redid their facilities
I wanted to comment that they are SPONSORED by Jordan brand. Meaning they get this stuff for free. They didn’t have to “spend a bunch of money on cleats”. There are only 4 universities sporting Jordan brand gear and that’s why it is special my friends. Lol.
Facilities that would stand up better to Bama are Oregon, Texas A&M, LSU, Clemson, South Carolina, Ohio State, Northwestern, and Texas.
As a longhorn fan I know Ohio state will be fire.
As a alabama fan I seen the organ one its fire
Please react to some nfl game highlights !!!
The Oregon one is the best…. Since the owner and founder of Nike is an Alumn of Oregon University so their facilities blow Alabamas out of the water.
The Sooners built this facility in order to keep pace with their instate rivals, the oklahoma state cowboys. The Cowboys received a huge donation from Boone Pickens, a billionaire oil tycoon. If you like this facility check out the Cowboys. For such a small school it’s unbelievable. And it’s 10x better than the Sooners. Oklahoma state is closer to bama than oklahomas.
Win more than 19 games in over a hundred tries in the rivalry, before you say you are setting any paces for The Sooners.
