Few ideas that may help you or anyone setting up planted aquarium or check my channel
1. Start with dark start method as it will solve the ammonia rise and water change issue
2. Add soil in the bottom. When the root goes down the sand doesn’t not give nutrient.
3. Use good filter with media chamber as it will grow beneficial bacteria that will reduce the ammonia level
4. Add co2 for better result and avoid money wastage on plants melting
5. Do not add fertiliser for minimum of 2months as the soil will release nutrients

there are two types of plants
1.tc cups : top quality
2.emersed plant (which you bought) those are grown in ponds so it will have small snails which you cant even see that is the reason for the snials in your tank
to avoid that you need wash the plants with certain snial removing pests(if u dont want to do so many steps just buy tc cups

Nice cleaning 😅 but its always better to add bio media inside hangon filter and dont keep aquarium lights to run continuously thats why this much algae and plants growth. Also add golden algae eater to keep it algae free 😊
