I have this watch in my collection and love it. I also have dive watches and don't think I've ever used the rotating bezel so that's not a problem. Like most citizen watches with push\pull crowns you still get 100 meters water resistance, more than you'll ever need. Accept it for what it is, a beautiful incredibly accurate eco-drive. I imagine some of you out there also want a helium escape valve for when you go saturation diving.lol
This watch is beautiful! I don't like the lack of a rotating bezel, but I don't find myself ever using it on the watches I own that have them, so I can forgive it at this price. Definitely going to add this beauty to my collection soon!
My dad has had this (on the milanese) as his only watch for years now and it's a gorgeous thing. My only complaint is the bezel, but he doesn't even know what a dive bezel is so for him it's perfect
I love citizen. And love the look of this watch. But that for show only bezel ruined it for me. I use the bezel to time a great many things. A great looker. But got to be useable. I don't do fashion show I do real life.
The bezel is a shame, but I have a hard time criticizing this watch as a divers watch, as it is only inspired by the diver look. My Casio Duro has 200M WR, screw down crown and a rotating bezel. Buy that instead. If you want a diver, this ain't it. If you want an attractive every day wear that will never let you down while looking good, this fits the bill. To compare this to a Daniel Wellington, or an Invicta (fashion watches) isn't reasonable.
My husband a watch enthusiast has observed the proliferation of dive style watches with fixed/non rotating bezels ie. from Alba, Hanowa, Nautica, etc. today, just to name a few. Its a shame that it has come to this. Let buyers beware. Never assume that every diver looking watch has a rotating bezel. This was never the case decades ago. Back then, even the cheapest dive watches with a minimal 100m wr would have a rotating bezel in the past. Although a very good looking retro style skin diver, it also fails in the size category bec retro skin divers are usually below 40mm size.
This watch shouldn’t be labeled as a dive watch. It isn’t a dive watch. Otherwise this is a very nice watch to wear. Unless you have a watch that is rated at 200 meters then it isn’t a dive watch.
I had just ordered it from ebay at $75usd, but the non rotating bezel is a deal breaker. With a mineral glass, aluminum bezel, leather strap (on a diver is weird), and lack of screw down crown render this watch into what you called it, a fashion watch. Thanks for saving me $75 bucks
WHAT?!)))) non moving bezel !))) I just can't stop laughing , sorry...wtf... they could get away with that if they would remove those "teeth" on the side of the bezel and put an hour marks instead of minutes, but to live it like that makes it a nonsense , my respect level for Citizen just went down

Thanks for the heads up on the bezel.
Great Review. Just bought this gem. For the price I can forgive a non-rotating bezel.
how much did you paid for this?
To be the bezel it’s not a deal breaker for me.
Watch looks good for the price. Thx for
The video
Its a classic sports Citizen watch not diver so bezel not relevant, I have the green one on s/s strap love it 😀🐯

wouldn't it be better to use your phone to time? it can ring loud alarms, etc..

No!!!! If only the bezel functioned! What a watch if they gave it the divers true treatment
100%
Bezel, screw down crown and sapphire would add $75 and people would then complain about the price.
AND IT'S NOT A DIVERS WATCH. You want those things buy a divers watch.

So close, but so far, can't forgive the bezel, shame about the crown
Bezel deal breaker - what a shame, so close, but so far
So true
